Hi! Maybe you could work for a year after graduation, make some money, make your thesis even better, and maybe being a research assistant to a professor or something. Grad schools like the "real world" experience, and even if it's not relevant to History, you still will look like you're committed to the field because of the extra work you did in your year off, or two.
