Just finish Crisis On Naboo and I have read almost all the reviews about the new four arc in the JCF. So in the first part somebody say that they want Anakin to be angry when he find out the lies and not some crap like" You are alive! Great!" and when they got that, somebody complain that all Anakin care about is that the Jedi lie to him and not ( Read more... )

JCF is mostly populated by idiots. I say pay them no heed.

And though I haven't seen Seasons 3 or 4, that's really interesting! I'll admit I never really thought of that.

What I always puzzle by the JCF is that all the bad episods get the most long huge reviews and it seems that almost everyone who post their reviews hate the TCW yet they are still there even though they post reviews like "this is the worst TCW ever! I will never watch it again!" in almost every episods. But hey, what do you know, TCW has give them PT love ! Who would know that TCW totally destory what little good parts left of the PT! Make me wonder if GL really make the ST, the PT will suddendly be willed loved by all the true SW fans ( ... )

That's really interesting regarding the JCF-ers. *Sighs* I...yeah, that's why I don't lurk in the Lit threads. Or lurk anywhere around the forums, really. I used to go there for writing tips, but it's really not worth...y'know, the wank.

And that is pretty confusing. I don't blame you.

I guess they just think that you are only a smart fan when you say bad things about SW. Who give them this idea anyway?

I went throug JCF for good discussion, but most time all I got is long words reviews of every little faults in one 20 minutes episod so that you will all know how much TCW sucks.

Sounds to me like you need to hear from those who love Star Wars! Haters will be haters, and these guys don't understand it either. Try out the podcasts at www.forcecast.net. They put out a 2-hour show nearly every week, and they do roundtables for every episode of the Clone Wars. It's worthy.

I know snark about the fandom you love, I have done the same thing in other fandoms. But when peopledo it, mostly you can feel their love, they snark because they love the fandom, but with some of the JCFs, it is the other way around. They just want to snark to show how mature and smart they are,and they only choice SW because everybody know that true SW fans hate SW.

Thanks for the podcast, I will try my hearing someday.

I hear you. I've never understood why people think that way. Star Wars... there's nothing else like it out there, but people hate because they seem to think they're too cool for the room. Usually I just ask people like that, "If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?" It usually shuts them up. lol

I think you'll find the Force Cast to be a breath of fresh air. These guys have reignited a lot of fandom worldwide and have brought true fandom to new levels. Now they even have contacts inside Lucasfilm, especially with the Clone Wars people. The last roundtable for TCW, one of their panelists was voice actor Stephen Stanton, who plays Tarkin and Moralo Eval. He's a great talent, and funny too.
