Bleach - Byakuya/Renji - round one - 50/50
Totally bit by the ByaRen bug tonight and had to do this all in one sitting.

01. Passion
Byakuya's a pretty damned passionate afterall, Renji thinks to himself as he watches the noble's reaction when his hair gets the slightest bit mussed--at least, about being pretty.
02. Trouble
There's very little one can do when one is in trouble with Kuchiki Byakuya except beg on one's knees, pray for mercy, or kiss him until he's senseless, and Renji, quite obviously, prefers the latter.
03. Red
"It's a nice shade of red, but can't you do anything with it? It's messy.." And Renji looks offended, thinking his hair is just fine the way it is.
04. Give
It's a funny little thing, sharing--something Renji's never been good at, for one, as he much prefers giving all he has to one thing, or person in this case, rather than sharing his affection with any other.
05. Sick
Byakuya has felt ill lately, or at least the Kuchiki household thinks so; that's apparently why he sends for ice so often, and why Renji just has to drop by to "check up on him."
06. Lost
There's a sakura petal floating by his window, into the room, and getting lost into his dark hair as his own petal-soft fingers get lost into crimson flames.
07. Nostalgia
"Hey, Taichou--" and Byakuya looks up towards his lieutenant, "--I don't remember what it's like not to be sore in the mornings now."
08. Future
There's not much Renji can say about what might happen later, except that he hopes it involves a certain pretty noble's lips on his skin, preferably his throat.
09. Bound
"Kidou..." Renji blocks the number out after that, feels his limbs freeze in place, and swallows because he knows he should really stop making Byakuya so mad at him.
10. Fall
The redhead eyes Byakuya's hair from across the room, and his fingers twitch in desperation--but then, so does his ankle, which still throbs from the last time he tried to play with it, and Byakuya kicked him out onto the floor.
11. Fluff
"Holy shit, Byakuya!" Renji practically crows as he falls back onto the noble's bed, snuggling into the silk comforter, "this thing is fluffy! I didn't know you liked fluffy!"
12. Anxiety
Nobles are prone to anxiety attacks, Renji decides, as he watches Byakuya fret and practically claw at his forehead from a headache; he also decides he has to come up with a creative idea to fix that.
13. Hungry
"I'm hungry," the Sixth Division fukutaichou mumbles, and Byakuya leans over the back of the redhead's chair, murmuring a soft so am I into his ear before partaking in the feast of his neck.
14. Feel
Day in and day out, Renji can't help but wonder how the hell Byakuya keeps his skin--even his hands--feeling so damned silky soft.
15. Curse
This is my curse, Byakuya decides as he sits through yet another meeting with his oh-so-wonderful noble family members, wishing he was with a certain street rat all the while.
16. Urgent
Rukia just happened to discover where those bruises on her brother's neck came from when she dashed into his room with an urgent message, and found said Kuchiki heir pressed up contently to his desk with a certain redhead's mouth fastened to his throat.
17. Silence
Renji doesn't like silence, but Byakuya does, so the poor thing's having to learn that the quieter he is, the more he gets in return later.
18. Poison
In public, Byakuya flinches away from Renji like he's poison, but it's the total opposite when they're alone--Byakuya clings to him like he's life.
19. Heat
Seireitei is downright hot in the nights of summer, and he's used to leaving his bedroom window open for a cool breeze--he can't now, however, because Renji doesn't understand what "be quiet!" means.
20. Secrets
Secrets hurt, but his lover doesn't understand this; he never has, and it frustrated Renji to no end to watch Byakuya suffer in silence over what he wouldn't tell him.
21. Discovery
It didn't take long for Renji to discover where Byakuya hid his keiseikan and all the tools necessary to put them on, and of course, he hid them where the noble wouldn't find them; his excuse was that it would keep some hassle out of Byakuya's morning routine, but the real reason was he liked Byakuya's hair completely down.
22. Desire
Renji had wanted Byakuya to notice him from day one, mostly due to jealousy, but now he wanted him to desire him, and not just as a suitable, capable lieutenant.
23. Wet
Renji was extremely nice to look at when shirtless and rain-soaked, Byakuya decided, especially since he would take his hair down from that messy ponytail and let it be free for once.
24. Alcohol
Nobles alcohol tolerances are, apparently, quite nonexistant, as Renji discovered one night; at least such things were in his favor.
25. Fantasy
"So, Taichou, got anything kinky you want to try out sometime?" Renji teased, and was surprised when Byakuya stumbled, looked guilty, and nearly dropped the stack of paperwork he was carrying.
26. Dizzy
Kissing for too long always made him feel dizzy, but Byakuya honestly didn't care as long as he was tasting the heat and spice of Renji's mouth.
27. Cold
"I'm cold.." Renji half-whined, using the excuse to snuggle up to the noble's side and nudge at his shoulder, which Byakuya responded to with a soft sigh, and an arm around the redhead's waist.
28. Need
For once, Renji has the upperhand, and uses it to his full advantage--that is, Byakuya pinned quite sufficiently against his desk, panting, and telling Renji how much he needs more.
29. Dream
Byakuya stirred from his sleep, and woke to see Renji sprawled out next to him with his face buried into his shoulder--which made him almost smile, and wonder if this was real.
30. Night
Renji developed a bad habit as of late, which consists of waking up in the middle of the night--especially when the moon is out--to watch its pallor cast pretty shades and shadows onto his lover's face as he sleeps, calm and content.
31. Now
"Dammit, Byakuya," Renji manages to hiss out, his fingers clawing at the noble's pale shoulders as he drags his naked body down onto his more firmly, "Need you.. Need you now."
32. Mistake
It was bad to point out Renji's every little mistake, Byakuya knew that, but being a perfectionist himself, he couldn't stand anything but.
33. Music
Describing Byakuya is easy: he's like music, calm, concise, sophisticated music that turns fluttery and feverish whenever a certain redheaded fukutaichou does just the right thing.
34. Storm
He's a tempest, a silent but potent whirlwind when he's angry, and Renji knows it, admires it, and hates it at the same time, because it gets turned on him more often than not.
35. Sweet
"It smells good," Renji sighed as he buried his face into Byakuya's neck and ultimately, his hair, "like candy. Or strawberries. Something sweet."
36. Angst
Said Kuchiki heir is at it again, brooding in his office, pretending to work when he's not, and it drives Renji up the wall--how can Byakuya angst like that when he's around?!
37. Soul
Byakuya's white, Renji's red, and Rukia can see straight through both of them to those particular colors that lay right there, under the surface of their skin.
38. Luck
It was pure, unfiltered luck that Renji had the upper hand on him right then; weakness, stress, and worry overtook him, and he simply allowed the redhead to hold him, soothe him, do whatever he wanted to him.
39. Beautiful
A soft, manicured hand slid into his own hard, roughened one and Renji smiled, thinking about how unlikely--and yet beautiful--all of this was.
40. Break
This is a nice way to spend my lunch break, Byakuya thought dryly as his fingers combed through Renji's hair, braiding the mess as best he could.
41. Breathless
Byakuya at his finest, Renji decided, was breathless, flushed, and trying not to like being kissed like that, but going back to be kissed like that anyway.
42. Tired
Sex always made him drowsy afterwards, and Renji wondered sleepily if he could ask for another day off tomorrow--then again, it would be the third one in a row that week.

Renji clenched his teeth as he observed Byakuya wince at the slightest movement, and had never in his life wanted to kill Gin so badly.
44. Misunderstanding
Byakuya's actually sick this time, from some human disease called "the flu", and is throwing up between glares directed toward Ichigo as the orange-haired punk asks who the father is. (A/N: Idea sooo ganked from my beta, Val)
45. Skin
Byakuya was pale like a porcelain doll, and Renji couldn't get enough of how pretty that was, and telling him exactly how pretty that was.
46. Love
He hadn't considered the emotion of love since there was Hisana, and doubted it would ever come about again; now, he seemed to be proved wrong.
47. War
The one thing Renji disliked confronting was the aspect of war, and that he and Byakuya were soldiers that would have to fight, and possibly lose one another.
48. Communication
The noble was not one for communication, but Renji was, and surprisingly, he didn't mind hearing his fukutaichou's voice for hours on end.
49. Wild
It was one thing when his hair was wild and spread out onto the wild silk of Byakuya's bed, but when Byakuya's hair was like that--well, it was a sight to behold.

"Strawberry's my favorite," Byakuya murmured, and Renji grinned before biting down onto the man's ear and sucking, loving the little throaty sigh while thinking and you're mine.
