I know this sounds mean, but I hope she never gets that baby she wants. Not only because her husband would get obsessed over her losing the weight, but that I'd pity any daughter they'd have. A shallow, self-absorbed mother with self-esteem issues and a demanding, control-freak father who judges women solely on their appearances, if that girl doesn't have an eating disorder by the time she's 16, it will be a miracle. (Granted a son would have some warped views on women.)

Have you read her more recent one titled Independence? A career? Who needs them! A husband who prizes your looks, not your mind is the key to a happy marriage? Sheezus. She does seem to have some paranoia issues that unless she gets help will only get worse as she gets older. To the point that no woman will be spared.
