OK, so there was a prompt on
1stclass_kink about a crossover between XM:FC and Glee (I think it's in Round 9, page 12 somewhere). Being a big fan of both fandoms, I just HAD to fill it. So many ideas...

PROLOGUE
The staffroom was alive with the sounds of overly tired teachers attempting to microwave their lunches and whining over troublesome students. Erik Lehnsherr didn't see how they could have any problems; the students sent to his office tended to be very quiet and meek.
He was moodily stabbing at his lunch with a fork (all brought from home, of course. The last time he tried to disinfect the staffroom resulted in a food fight. Never doing that again), when his best friend and semi-crush Charles Xavier fell into the chair beside him. He looked up. Charles was smiling like he'd won a Nobel Prize. Or several.
He raised an eyebrow in question. "What's got you so happy today?"
Charles attempted to stifle his grin. It was a patchy job. "Nothing! Nothing at all, my friend. Why? Can't I just be happy on this fine, fine day?"
"You said fine twice," Erik noted as he impaled a grape and brought it to his mouth. "Plus, you're fidgeting. That means that something's up." Charles gave up holding back on his excitement.
"OK, I'll fold."
"I'm all ears." Charles ignored his dry remark.
"Guess who's just been made the newest coordinator of Genosha's Glee club?!" By now he was nearly jumping up and down in his seat. Erik thought for a moment.
"... we have a Glee club?" This was clearly not what Charles was expecting, as he lightly hit Erik on the shoulder. "Erik! Of course we have a Glee club. It's actually been running for some time, but after the last coordinator was caught with a student, well, there's an opening now. And guess who's applied?" They were interrupted by a women dressed scantily in white.
"Charles!" Emma Frost, coach to Genosha's multi-award-winning cheerleading team, was smiling sickly. It wasn't a good look for her. "I heard that you're planning on continuing that... club." She clearly wanted to add in a few other choice words, but refrained since Erik was there. His over-protectiveness of Charles was legendary among the whole of Genosha.
"Yes I am, Emma. It will definitely be an exciting new opportunity for the students who love performing and appreciating music. I mean, just THINK of the practical applications for this! The amount of effort that goes into performance-"
Emma had her arms crossed. "Principal Shaw has cut my budget. And it's YOUR fault. You and your 'Glee club'."
"-what? Oh dear, I'm so sor...ry." He trailed off at her dark expression. Erik had an equally dark glare aimed at Emma's face. She twitched.
"Yes, you will be. And now, I have better places to be." She stormed off without looking back. Charles looked after her, his earlier excitement dampened.
"Maybe I should-"
"No. You are not giving this up, just so Frost can have more money to spend on spas." Charles still looked doubtful. Erik sighed. He lightly patted Charles' hand, then got out the hand sanitizer. Charles watched as Erik deftly spread enough liquid for both hands. He put the bottle away, using this time to frame his words carefully.
"Look. You really want to do this, right?" Charles nodded furiously. He opened his mouth to speak, but Erik held out a hand to stop him.
"Then you go for it. All for the brats and their 'wellbeing'."
"Erik! Don't call them that." But Charles was once again smiling. Erik grinned a sharky grin in reply, and they sat there while Charles finished off the rest of Erik's grapes.
Once done, Erik cleared the table and started on wiping it down with some of his Handy-wipes. "Charles?"
Charles was watching him again. "Hm?"
"How many br- kids are currently in the Glee club?"
"None." Charles said it like the fucking Nobel Prize. Erik stared in disbelief. "I'm planning on holding auditions so the previous members can try out again, and I get a good indication of their talents. Plus, this will encourage more people to sign up, since everyone is on an equal basis."
Erik was not convinced.
"You're going to need a lot of brats then."
"Don't worry, I know that people will turn up. After all, 'music is the universal language of mankind'." He got up as the bell rang.
"Well then, I'm off to class. Chess game later?"
"Of course." Erik stood up and pointed at the doorway, one eyebrow raised mockingly. "Now go forth and conquer."
Charles laughed. "I highly doubt the students are planning a revolt, my friend. Especially not over Biology." He paused a moment. Erik looked into those blue, blue eyes and was lost.
"Erik? Is something wrong?" Charles looked concerned.
Erik shook his head rapidly. "Don't worry about it."
He watched Charles as he left.
