One of the things I am looking forward to most about traveling in August is the off-kilter experience of navigating the Czech and Hungarian train systems.
This post makes me so happy I can't begin to tell you. I'm delighted to hear that the folks in Houston were good to this Japanese guy -- and oddly entertained that that made you proud, as it would have done me. :-)
And it's amazing what a connector fandom can be, isn't it? I love your conversation w/ the Japanese Packer fan.
And I'm so glad you were able to cross paths with friend J. -- I thought he was in Australia the whole time you were there! That's wonderful. I can't wait to hear more about that, and see pix of his house.
And now, back to trying to figure out what's wrong with my sad computer (am posting this on misia's -- suddenly mine's crashing every few minutes, and refusing to respond to stimuli much of the time. methinks dropping it on its head a few weeks ago is having a delayed effect...)
