25th Japanese Speech Contest.
Sooooooo. I was at the Japanese Speech Contest yesterday. No I didn't join the competition. I was there watching! well, i wanted to see my friends in their choir. Plus, when it comes to japan, include me in. ;)
It started at.... 2:45? HAHA My friend and I were quite early so we were looking around talking as the hall gets more and more filled. there were really many people. which was very unexpected! o.O While waiting for the guest of honour, they showed the "message from japan" the one with Arashi and the cat. HEH. I watch it before already. =P when I saw the beginning, I was saying, "ARASHI!" HEHEH. We startes, the speech began with the beginner's level. They were really fluentt! D= I was awed. HAHA a little. especially for the advanced level! It was really very interesting.
The first person from the beginner's level was a university student who is also in the debate team. She was really confident and all. yeah, she got the first. Second was a friend of mine, also in level one, different class. HEH. Then third was.... can't remember. Then in the advance level, first came to a very talented, awesome girl who talked about "My beloved Japanese Language" She said how in the beginning, she was not interested and all. Then, she met with her senior who made her watch anime. She watched an anime changed her life. WOOO. welcome to this side! My friend and I was like ,"yeah! Otakus rule! ;)" HAHA Second was UNEXPECTEDLY, my neighbour. I didn't know he joined and I didn't even know there was someone interested in Japan, so near to me! AJDKEKSJK HAHAH. If he got first place, he could have gotten a chance to go to Japan. ;) Third was... i don't know. I never remembered. HEHEHEH.
The choir was awesome! To me. Inori you raise me up and Together was sang. Inori was... HAHA quite low pitched. HEHE. a little not organized but still awesome! and Together was just greattt! I love it. They sang it properly (duh they had the lyrics) and really nicely! <3
There was a part where they had this, "Quiz on Japan part 2". HAHA I was interesting. We didn't join though. We almost joined thanks to me. heheheh. but we took off that band thingy. =P so they asked all the weirdest question. HAHAH and it was barely easy. They had interesting background music and animation. One of teh background music was from Fairy Tail and my friend and I literally shouted "Fairy Tail" ;) It was awesome.
Everything ended well yesterday. And I felt, happy. I had tons of fun. I'm really grateful, few years ago, I got interested in Jdramas and music. and now anime. thanks to them, I met all the interesting people. Fun people. and very friendly people! <3
