(I do wonder if part of the declining comments is a "tumblr" mentality where you just click "like" on something or "reblog" without necessarily acknowledging or even remembering that there is a person on the other side of that picture, you know? It's a much more selfish platform than LJ.)

As for the other part of your comment... it's possible! Although with tumblr at least one can track how many people liked/reblogged via the notes. On LJ, there's only comments (or webclaps, for instance, but from what I hear webclap doesn't show exactly which entry was webclapped, only the appreciation in general)...

i think if people comment your sharing post then other people will recognize that these boys are being loved too by their fans
i rarelly taking pictures coz i know there will no end for it ^_^; but yea sometimes i save it coz i love them..
n maybe i've ever took some pictures from u or somewhere else but didn't comment it because it were old posts..
i'm sorry ..coz someone said to me it was confusing if i make a comment for old posts
n since i'm new at this fandom, i still try to resist the temptation to collect their picture^^; but i'm trying my best to not forget to at least say thanks if i take the picture
