I'm sorry to hear that she put you in such a shitty situation. I would be such a terrible boss because I just don't think I could deal with things like this. I'm sure you are a good boss because you're a good person. If she has some sort of anxiety disorder, it's her responsibility to seek help for it not yours. Hopefully this will spur her to do something about it.

Oh, and while we're on the subject of bosses and real jobs, I think you'd really like the movie Up in the Air with George Clooney. If you haven't seen it and if you can find the time, I highly recommend it.
