Since everyone else seems to be posting this "all about ME!!!" stuff, I figured I would, as well. I love to read, and I never know what to read next. MY "non-knit" LJ

I just tore through Middlesex also and L-O-V-E-D it! especially because my last name is Stephanidis and I've never met anyone else who's even come close to that name! and I also love John Irving...everything. Just thought I would comment. I'm going to look into the other books you've listed since we seem to have some similar likes. (i found your jounral through the betty crafter recipe swap thing-a-majig)

Dear Yarngrrl:
Apparently we are actually the same person (except for my fear that if I ever went to your part of the world, an alligator would eat me before I even got off the jetway; presumably you don't have that fear!).
Man, if this wasn't an anonymous comment, I'd totally use a "cake or death" icon. Or possibly "Le singe est ... le singe est disparu!" Because the monkey would fuck off, wouldn't he? He's a bloody monkey!

I am so happy! I got your card today, thank you! It was nice to get real mail! =D PS if you ever came here, you would not see an alligator, because I am apparently Alligator Repellant. My husband took me to the zoo for our anniversary Saturday *specifically* to see an alligator, and there were none about! I have lived here virtually my WHOLE LIFE, drove on Alligator Alley every weekend home from college, and have still not seen one! Erhm. Monkeys from Azerbaijan!
