they moded everyone for one post-- and of course the first thing I do is ask for a copyrighted thing. I never do that.
But you must have it, I realized! Do you have the original pattern for the damn fish afgahn? I know you made the made the chages so the fish would lie flat, but I had already made like 40 of the things.
I'm not clever enough to take them apart and figure it out, and I haven't been working on it lately, so I don't really remember. :-(

My nephew's first birthday is coming up in a month (a day before my 30th) and I'd really like to have the thing finished... erm, but it's hardly started.

Thanks! But that pattern actually doesn't knit up right because there was a mistake in it (did you fix it?) and it's not the same as the original, so I am wondering how it is going to be when I put all the fish together. They aren't going to look the same, are they? I was hoping for that crazy continuity. I'm a little pissed because of the copyright claim on the pattern, it's actually an old german pattern this woman translated, according to a couple of sites, and not her original thing. And so how is it under copyright again? I don't get it.
Anyway.
