The Yarns, a spare update::Russet!

Russet and Henye break in their new house and new bed.



And then I experiment with new makeups. She is not amused.



VERY not amused!!



Oh, that's better. Subtle, yet funky, colorful, and snazzy. Just perfect.

Hula is what pregnant sims do.



(Or at least, what her mother-in-law encourages, yes?!)



Henye: So, Russet dear. What would you like to do today?
Russet: Spend time with my lovely wife?



Henye: Wonderful!! I know just what we can do!!! *glee*



dance the hula.



all morning.



hula = happy henye.



Henye: I'm so big! How do these buttons even button over my massive middle?!?!



Henye: Gee, what was I thinking? They're stretchy buttons .... duh!!



Russet makes friends with a stray neighborhood cat named Noodle.



And Henye goes into labor!!





It's a girl! Hello, Sprout Yarn!



brown hair, brown eyes.



Russet: *applauds* WHOooOOO!!!!!
Sprout: *waves*



Henye: Ahhh, back to the mostly normal size. No more stretchy buttons!



Sprout gets lots of love.



And Noodle has made himself at home as well.



Russet and Henye have a little party for their friends.



Captian Hero gives her mother-in-law a relaxing back massage.



And Sprout meets her Uncle Peat!



Sprout: WAHHHH!!
Peat: I know how to do this baby thing! *gets bottle*



Peat: *sticks bottle in open mouth*
Sprout: WAblffffffl
Peat: I did it!!
Russet: Yay?



Sprout grows up!



and has the ears!



Family time. I bet most toddlers can't say that Captian Hero taught them nursery rhymes. lol.



She's a generally happy child.





Even if Noodle is not a happy cat!



Henye: *contemplates silliness!*
(also, note small baby bump. There was a pop!)



Henye and Sprout: Tee hee hee!!



Awww, looksies!! Russet and Sprout are singing nursery rhymes!

Hi Henye!! What's up?



O. Just potty training XD



O! POP!



Yes?



Already?! Well that was fast!



It's a girl! (Hi, Seedling Yarn!!)

And a boy! (Hello, Grasshopper Yarn!)



The third floor became the baby zone, and this was a frequent scene. Just before the twins were born, Russet had found a job in the education career track, monitoring playground shenanigans and then classroom shenanigans, so that left Henye to monitor twin baby shenanigans at home.



Not to mention toddler shenanigans downstairs.



It was a rough time.



Then, happily, Sprout grew up!!



Sprout: Ahhhhhhh! *breathes deeply of childhood independence*



Her first autonomous action? Showing off by doing a somersault. Russet approved. (I've never had an autonomousely show-off child before. It's rather entertaining, lol!)



Sprout: I'm so fabulous.



Russet: Yes!! That was very fabulous, dear fabulous daughter!
Sprout: XD!!! *best friendsssssss*



Henye continues the perpetual baby cycle. Cuddle, soothe



...kiss.



And even finds time for a little joking with Sprout!



And playing with Noodle!!





Then backupstairs to repeat the cycle with the next baby.



Sprout: Lookit me!!! LOookit meee!!! I can do a headstand!! And my skirt can defyyyyyy gravity!
Henye: WHOOOoooO!O!!!



Henye: You're a future Captian Hero for SURE!



After hours and hours (days???) of messages that Seedling was overheating and better cool her off or else! The babies finally grew up. Here's Grasshopper, with a generation appropriate outfit to boot!



And next was Sprout!! (In the midst of a heatwave, apparently? I even re-walled and re-roofed the top floor. Goodness.)



AHHH!! Bugs!! Quick, Russet! I know you like bugs and all but these ones spread the fluuuuuuuu!
Russet: Hey, Peat!! The twins just had their birthday, yeah, now we've moved into the crawling and singing and tickling part!! Yeah! And guess what?? There are these crazy bugs crawling all over the floor. I should take a picture, they've got like 298347 legs and they're so fast!

ASKLAKSFJ~!!!! get off the phone and squish them Russet!! NAO!!!



Phew. He took care of the bugs. And time for twinsy makeovers!! This is Grasshopper XD



And Seedling.



She's rather ... grumpy. Perhaps all that time overheated as a baby was not good for her temperament.





That's better!!

Hope ya'll enjoyed the peek into Russet and Heyne's life on the other side of town! We'll see them again for sure, but next time we'll be back at the main house with Clementine, Peat, and the rest of them! [ETA: The full family tree has been updated to include Russet's cute kidlets!!]
