The Yarns, Peat part 4

This post was lost to accidentally-deleted land for awhile, but now it's back!! Sorry everyone!







What a great way to start a quiet Sunday, cuddles with the baby!!



And if Peat and Allison are busy reading and gaining knowledge? Clementine to the rescue! What do you think they're reading? ... The History of Pirates ... or maybe Babies::The World's Greatest Mystery ... or Power Shovels for Every Backyard. ^.^!



Enchanted: So THAT'S where they've been hiding!! *toddles over to parents to demand attention*



Oh, and there was a little remodeling of the itty bitty bathroom and Chestnut's bedroom. Now there's a bigger bathroom. And rubber duckies!! Can you find the rubber duckies?

Enchanted amuses herself with the blocks at the playtable, but she won't be alone for long!



Clementine: Another baby birthday!I LOVE birthdays!
Emerald: Oh look! A cake!



Emerald: What is Grandma doing?! *amused*



Clementine: And the confetti!!! *glee* Emerald: O_O



Another cute little black haired toddler gets dressed in green (okay, and orange and yellow too. I liked the outfit, okay?!)



Peat and Allison find all sorts of time and places to get their snuggly in. Thankfully, they're still following the "two children per generation" rule.



All she does is look cute and they get stuff for her! Bottles, stories, tickles. Her wish is their demand. Or something like that.



Peat gets right to potty training.



The sooner it's done, the fewer diapers there will be to change. Right, Peat?



O! Well that was fast! lol
Peat: All in a day's work. *stretch*



The sisters' work isn't done yet though, they've got lots of skills to master if they're going to make it to the top of two career tracks (part of the green gen challenge).



Late at night, when most of the house is sleeping, Clementine and Emerald play silly games together.



Clementine: Heeeeere I coooooome! *has grabby hands*
Emerald: Oh noes!! *laughs*



And Clem teaches her the ever important skill of ~**~WALKING~*~~



Awww, cute toddler toddling!





Other late night activities include painting.



aka being scared by a ghosts!



And the next day, the girls get back to the table.
Enchanted: Whacha dwawin Emie?
Emerald: a fing.



Enchanted: Huh?
Emerald: AHAHahhAHHAAhAAA!! *scribbles*
Enchanted: *is still confused*



With the girls settled nicely into toddlerhood, Grandma Clementine heads out again. She says she has more research to do for her next book.





At the end of the legacy (10 generations) at least one sim must have ALL vacation memories

She comes back to Pleasantview a few days later and is greeted by cheerful, adorable faces!



And she has a picture framed to commmemorate her fire dancing, for future generations to remember.



Looks like she came back just in time. Peat and Allison have decorated the backyard, called over family and friends, and it's time to celebrate Enchanted's birthday!



Clementine takes advantage of the situation to get to know some of her other grandchildren -- Grasshopper and Seedling.



Apparently Peat and Allison have a different idea o_O



As do Henye and Russet!?!?! Some party! lol



Meanwhile Clementine teaches Chestnut and Leo Potter (grown up!) the slap dance.



Russet: This is great chicken, Allison. You didn't even burn it!
Emerald: *wishes for non-burnt chicken for the toddler crowd*



Allison: Thanks! When you're cooking it, you just have to keep thinking about *~rain~* and then you won't burn it!
Peat: My wifeee is awesome!! XD
Russet: Wow, really?!



And then it's time for some birthday cake! Leo (black hair on the left) is always an enthusiastic Yarn Birthday Guest.



Peat: Blow like this, Enchanted!



And she grows up!



Isn't she adorable?!



And of course, the first-night-as-child ghosts come out in force.



At breakfast the next morning, Enchanted thinks about what she might learn at her first day of school.
Enchanted: Grandma says at school I'll learn maths with numbers AND letters. Isn't that cool?!
Allison: Oh yes, that's very nice dear. I don't know if you'll learn about that today though. Maybe you'll learn about just one or the other. Or maybe the weather!



And it's at this point that I reinstall the game on my new computer. See what the house looks like the first time I start up the game?! And I also forgot to change my screenshot settings. Oops. So we'll do a real quick summary of the next few days.



There's treasure digging. And Peat hits his first water pipe.



Clementine helps Enchanted with her homework. Doesn't she just look so pleased?! lol



Clementine's reasearch has paid off!! She writes another best seller :D



Emerald is still here, playing and being adorable.



Peat and Allison work at Stuff For Everyone.



(Peat charms the customers into buying his rocks and bones.)



And then finally I fix the screenshots!! And Peat wins an award -- Stuff For Everyone is declared the Best of the Best!!!



A play session with Russet was also lost to bad screenshot land, but basically all you need to know is that the twins grew up!! (And also their cat Noodle died, but they got a new one from Henye's mother who raises kittens.)



Because see?! It's time for another party!! Russet, Sprout, and Grasshopper dance the hula.



And then they all gather around the cake to cheer for Emerald!!





Peat: My little Emerald is growing up! *tear*



pre-makeover, Emerald has some cake and gets to know her cousins.



And the sisters spend time together too. That's Emerald in the green hair (oops, forgot a makeover picture).



Sometimes they like to hug eachother. Sometimes. So long as one of them doesn't have to pee or isn't crabby or think the other one is looking at her funny.



Peat and Allison. Again.>



While both girls are at school, Peat and Allison head back to Stuff For Everyone. Allison works the register while Peat works "sales."



Sometimes he's a little pushy.



He keeps trying to sell the treasure chest...



He might finally have a taker!!



Peat: Congratulations, Possum!! You're now the proud owner of the one and only PIRATE TREASURE!
Possume: Thank you, thank you!! *GLEE*



Peat also continues to tend the garden. While thinking of his darling wifeee.



Who's playing Red Hands with Emerald. Emerald is one of those kids who comes home from school and needs to have FUN, and lots of it.



Grasshopper: And then there was this big shadow on the ground and he said, 'Is it a bird? Is it a plane? NO! It's CAPTAIN HERO!!!'
Enchanted: I've heard that one before. :((



Clementine: What did you think of my book?
Allison: ...Which one?
Clementine: The last one, Dance With Me.



Allison: I really liked it!! The part about the Hula dance was the best, of course.



Clementine: I know, isn't it just? I think everyone ought to know that dance, especially mothers.
Allison: It sure gets you ready for the little babies.



Allison: Didn't they have a special on TV about traditional dances in the Far North??
Clementine: You know, I heard that but I never saw it. Did they show it already?!



Allison: Oh I don't know, maybe it was just a rumor.
Clementine: We should ask our neighbors, since they have a TV.
Allison: We have a TV now too.



Clementine: And then we could have a party!! Watch the special together, try some new dances, have great food!! IT WOULD BE FANTASTIC!!

Allison: I love a good crazy party! XD With some crazy dance!



Allison: Totally.



Hard maths is hard. Enchanted plugs away.



Since Enchanted is into games, they decide to try out this new fangled "Don't Wake the Llamas" game.



Laughs all around!



Enchanted: *yawns*
Clementine: *anticipates her next move*



Allison: So, girls. This should definitely be part of that crazy dance party we were talking about.
Clementine: *ponders* Yes, and maybe we could find that game I played in the Far East too, MahJong.

A dance and games party!! Everyone get ready!! XD



Allison shows Emerald how it's done.



Allison: I'm falling, ooohooooh, for you!



Allison: If I die before I wake, the dreams of youuuuuuu were my escape!!!! Whoooooa!!!
Enchanted: *is not impressed*



Don't worry, Emerald's still here :D



Clementine's getting old - she's nearly 82. Peat and Allison know she won't be around forever, so they've decided to take her and the little girls on a final vacation together to their lovely beach home. That'll be next time!
