The Yarns, Emerald part 7

Emerald: Hey, little brother!! Welcome, come for my birthday party?
Frog Prince: Of course!





Lots of friends and relatives came to see Emerald transition ... with or without blowing out the candles on her birthday cake >.>



The twins help out with the party too, even managing to socialize with some of the guests (despite both being rather shy).



And of course there's dancing.





and water-balloons



Gold: We propose a toast!! To our wonderful mother...
Custard: ... may she always be loved!
multiple lovers: HEAR HEAR!!



Clementine's dancing lives on, Custard's favorite dance is the hula (while Gold prefers the slap dance or smustle). They roll these wants EVERY.DAY.

Our other pleasure seeker has brought a pretty girl (Dolly, by bondchick_nett) home from school.



Gold: Oh Dolly, I think you're so beautiful!
Dolly: You do?! *bes perplexed*



Awwww.



Later that night Gold hops on the computer to tell all his AIM chat friends about his First Kiss (TM)!!





The next morning Custard hops on to check in with his friend Pistachio (simgaroop). And it's at this point that I realize they could have TWO computers, thus being able to chat with peeps online at the SAME TIME! That would be so much easier. You will see that soon.



But first!! Em's most recent fling calls and asks for a date, so Emerald heads out on the town (or rather, the Music & Dance hobby lot). Stalker-like policeman stalks them for the majority of their date. This is important later.









Dancing is where it's at!! She tries again to win a dance contest, this time with the smustle.



She and her date demonstrate just how close they are.





And of course stalker policeman is still there, but this time as the competition.



How could she lose?



Apparently she did. She lost to the Hobby Lot leader person. LAME!



Oh well!! We can get over the unfair loss!! Emerald decides to smooth talk the stalky policeman, which he readily accepts. She attempts to give him a little peck, you know, no hard feelings, maybe we'll dance together tomorrow, whatever ... but he pushes her away! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!! Oh well, she still has Ray, who has been standing there all along. They had a very dreamy date in the end XDD



Back at the house the boys are busy doing what they do best.



And by that I don't mean cleaning up (though they are good at that), I mean following eachother around waiting to tell a joke or punch eachother!! Which will it be this time?



OH LOOK! PUNCHING!!



But seriously, these twins are the closest siblings or friends I have ever had in this game. They're always following eachother around, listening to the other play a tune on an instrument, waiting to play 'Punch U - Punch Me' ...



So it seems fitting to put their (TWO!!) computers side by side in the decoratively indecisive spare bedroom that I was maybe sort of prepping for the next generation that isn't even a thought on the horizon yet.



Allison is very excited by this prospect. It is her old bedroom, so I guess that's a good thing o_O



or maybe she really likes the computer?



But then it broke, and I made Custard fix it. He does need to max his skills after all, and what better way to work on improving one's skills than sticking a screwdriver into the computer drive?!







Successfully fix computer? Must punch brother!
Gold: Haha brother, you have wimpy punches!



Custard: I DO NOT!
(but he does, lolol. Gold punches much harder than Custard does!)



And so then I decorated the room a little more!! A few plants and gardening tools, some maps and interesting pictures on the walls, and of coures a pile of books. A little of everything for the sims who are to have many intellectual interests ^.^ (Sorry it's so dark, I forgot to put lights in the room until later.)





The days go on, Emerald still glows when she plays piano.



The boys still have to do their homework.



And they still spend lots of time on the computer, making friends and ... uh ... Custard what are you doing?
Custard: Playing!
But you should be chatting!! See, Gold gets it! Go see if Benvolio or Pistachio or Celery are on.



Custard: *stares*



Custard: I uh ... need a snack!
*facepalm*



Meanwhile Emerald is befriending a dog outside. This is new!





But it was sadly interrupted by a Boo!Peat!

Emerald takes a little break from running the museum and decides to write a book. A book about her great-great-great-grandfather Scuba, the epic Treasure Hunter and Alien Explorer.



But then, tragically, Custard discovers that Caribou has passed on.



Gold is so devastated he can't even approach the cage. :((





Emerald: Hey sis, you remember Caribou?
...
Emerald: Yeah, the wormrat we've had for forever. Well ... he's no longer with us.
...
Emerald: No, I don't mean the boys let him out!! I mean he's DEAD!



Life carries on, just one wormrat less in their world.





Emerald puts the final touches on her book.



It sells well (and is good advertisement for the museum too!)



The boys do even more homework.



And continue in their quests for skillz.









And then out of nowhere this happened.





Both Em and Custard hurried Gold's side, someone needs to plead with Grim!!



Custard: *drops to ground* Pleeeeeeease!!!
Emerald: *is impaled by scythe*



Custard: PUHLEEEEEEZE!!! Don't take my brother!! He's practically my only friend!



Grim: FINE. PICK ONE WIMPY BOY.



GRIM: AHAHAHHAHAHA!
Custard: *screams*



NuuuuuuUU!U!!



And that was that. Much like Allison did after Peat died, Custard slept there all night.



Emerald had a hard time leaving too.
Boo!Ben: HA!
Emerald: AHHH!!! And this is what my Gold is now!



*cries*

Next time:: The twins Custard grows up and more stuff I haven't played yet because I R TOO SAD! Next update coming in two weeks, stay tuned =/
