one of the best things about my job are the random, day-before-holiday emails.  "On behalf of myself and the other officers, I would like to wish you and your family a safe and happy Memorial Day.  The Headquarters and the Regional Offices will be closing today at 3pm local time."  i can deal with that.

molly's doing well but is still an energy-filled toy-killing machine. she gnawed through a rope toy in one day flat. i mean, wow.

that may not change. natasha's twelve and she still terrorizes some toys. you just gotta find molly some tougher playthings!

sorry you don't get a weekend. will it make you feel better if i tell you that next week will be the first week so far this year that us bikeschool folks get a break from classes?

might you have any advice on rope toys that might last? she likes the tug game thing. do those non-rope tugs do any good?

i go yoga-ing in september. i guess that counts as a break.

you know what we use for tug toys at our house? busted tubes. i kid you not. we cut out the valves so no one'll get hurt. amazingly they last quite a long time, even with sharp dog teeth. plus, when we get tired we can tie a tube to a doorknob and tashy is still entertained.
