it's another WEMS race tomorrow, and honestly, i'm not too excited about it.  i brought work home and ended up working till 9pm twice this week, and my days have been insane. i need some sleep-in-relax time, and getting up ungodly early tomorrow to get to the trailhead ain't going to cut it.

We loaded 5 bikes onto D's car- and a Molly in the back- for a weekend adventure.  3 MTB's and 2 roadies.  In the end, only the two roadies would see any Kettle Moraine action, and only 9 miles at that.  It turned out that relaxification played the trump card.  We swam and ate and sunned and went to the dog park and rode in a motorboat.  It was ( Read more... )

tonight will mark day three in the Struggle to House 10 Bikes in the Small Extra Bedroom.

Last night, to get the final items out of my place, we walked from the West Loop back to the old 'hood, met some friends at Feed for dinner, collected the tandem, and rode it home.  It is now, officially, empty.  And we have our tandemnation back.  Yea!
