Glasses

Today, for the first time in my life i wore glasses and it's a very strange and headache inducing experience.  My bank balance cried too.

Glasses are expensive although I do rate Glasses Direct.

I love glasses direct. My last opticians pair were £250, my last glasses directones were £17. I now have 5 different pairs.

i think in future if i need some i will order them online, although i know how fussy i am about getting sunglasses to suit my face i don't think i could buy glasses without trying them on first.

They offer a slightly unwieldy 'try at home' service for a couple of pounds. They send, you try, you send back for lense fitting if you like them and they send them out to you when they're done. Still works out cheaper than opticians!
