Osuwari!

I was stamped as Kagome...a long, long time ago. I've changed alot, and want to see if I've become someone else!

Basics
Name: Michiru
Age: 20
Gender: Female
A few of your strengths: Honest, loyal, encouraging and very caring towards friends, creative and skilled in sewing/writing/music, protective, can remember lots of facts, interested in lots of different subjects, good at languages.
A few of your weaknesses: I’m prone to anxiety, overthink things, I can snap at people if I’m worried about something, I have difficulty expressing my feelings, I tend to place too much responsibility on myself/hold myself to impossible standards and self-flagellate when something goes wrong, socially awkward.
Your general mood: I’d say I’m usually worked up over something, whether good or bad. I’ll get on edge if I’m worried about something, and if I’m excited I’m REALLY excited.
Personality in five words or less: Loyal, unique, individual, obsessive, mother-hen.

Preferences
Favorite Inuyasha character and why: Bankotsu! I really don’t have much of an explanation for it. He’s amusingly lazy, he’s slightly unhinged, he’s devoted to his companions, he’s strong, he’s determined, and he just kinda wants to be left alone to do his own thing. I like that all of those characteristics in a character.
Elsewise I like Kouga a lot. He’s got the same determination, devotion and loyalty to friends that I like in Bankotsu, but he’s a lot dorkier and completely lacking proper social etiquette. He’s like an endearingly dumb stalker.
Least favorite Inuyasha character and why: I’ve never liked Kikyou. She just rubs me the wrong way. She’s kind of petty in some ways, and just generally really bitchy. Sure, you’ve had it bad, and yeah, you’re a walking corpse, but either off yourself or stop being all ‘woe pity me.’
All-time favorite anime character and why: Well, huh. Hard question.I’ve got a list, really, or my absolute favorites.
Kougaiji from Saiyuki, because he’s a total sweetheart despite being a prince and being powerful. He’s a demon, but he’s concerned about the welfare of humans as well; he’s very devoted to his friends and his family and will do anything to protect them. I find him very endearing, overall.
Okuda Takiko from Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden is second on the list. She’s a strong woman who doesn’t fit 1920s Japan’s idea of the way women should be, and she took care of her mother while her mother died of tuberculosis-which she gets. She gets drawn into Ancient China and made a Priestess of the god Genbu and has to save the world she’s brought to. In order to do that she faces rejection, accusations of bringing doom to the country, is hunted by assassins who don’t want her to summon Genbu’s powers-and she chooses to give her life and chances of treatment for her disease in order to stay in that world to save the people she’s become close to. She’s strong, courageous, loving and brilliant.
All-time hated anime character and why: Kurotsuchi Mayuri from Bleach. He’s a soulless, heartless, amoral bastard who massacres entire peoples in the ‘name of science.’ He holds nothing sacred, is allowed to run free and torture people at a whim just because he *might* produce something ‘good’ or ‘helpful’ from it, he’s abusive and he’s a creep.
I hate people like that.
Do you tend to help others or help yourself first? When it comes to my friends, I try to do both at once. It’s a weird balance, but I’ll multitask if I can so that I can still do what I have to but also help my friends because they need me.
If you have a disagreement, the best way to change their mind is to kick their ass, right? I really hate fighting with friends; I don’t want to upset them. But I’ll stand up for my beliefs and we’ll get into fairly loud, screamy disagreements sometimes.
If I had to though, I’d beat the crap out of someone. Just not a friend, and only in self-defense.
Would you rather learn from your mistakes, or forget them? Learn from them. If I don’t learn from them and know what I did wrong, I won’t be able to avoid doing it again in the future.

Situations
If you're in line and someone cuts right in front of you, what do you do? If they’re cutting in with friends, I’m usually okay with it. If they’re just cutting in, I’ll probably point them to the end of the line.
You are walking through the forest when suddenly you are surrounded by a group of bandits. What do you say and do? I’d be panicking, but I’d try to think straight. I’d tell them I didn’t have any money-and I’m a college student, so it’s true xD-and if they tried to attack me, I wouldn’t go down without a fight (and I’d still be kicking and screaming. And biting and scratching and punching and spitting. Kind of like a rabid cat.)
You're a demon with a shikon shard that boosts your power. Inuyasha suddenly rushes at you and wants to take it. What do you do? Fight him if he’s not willing to listen to reason. It’s mine; I understand why they need it to put the jewel back together, but if I’ve got it, well, they can come find me later. Though if Naraku comes after me for it and I can’t beat him, they can have it-I’d rather not die over something that trivial.

This or That
High or low self-esteem? It’s pretty low, actually. I wish it wasn’t, but it is; I’m trying to improve it, though.
Submissive or Dominant: I feel like I’m pretty dominant most of the time. I like being in control of things, and don’t like not getting my way/at least getting compromised versions of what I want.
Mature or Immature: Mature. I’ve always been mature for my age, and I’m still like that.
Leader or Follower: Leader. I don’t follow anyone, and I don’t conform to norms most of the time.
Optimistic or Pessimistic: Realistic. I look at the good and the bad and all that’s in between to figure out all possible outcomes.
Outgoing or Shy: I’m a mix of both. I’m not very socially adept and I don’t like crowds, but I can talk to people if it’s small groups and they seem receptive to my ideas.
Modest or Bold: I’m proud of my achievements, and like to put my ideas forth if I feel like it’s necessary, but I’m not going to go out of my way to be a show off or put myself in the limelight.

Any character you feel you shouldn't be voted as? I honestly have no clue who I’d be, so I can’t say for sure. I just don’t think I’m anything like Renkotsu or Naraku or Jaken.

Anything else? Stamp me as whatever gender you want. And despite it not coming through in my app, I’ve been told I give off a vibe of being in-control and wanting to protect people.
