Terra was relaxing in the common room when Ven came bouncing in cheerfully. Since Ven always bounced cheerfully, no matter where he went, this didn't particularly attract Terra's attention. He looked up with an affectionate smile when Ven greeted him, though, all in exclamation points as usual, too. "Hey, Ven."
"Hey, Terra! Do you want to see my tattoo?" Ven beamed.
Terra didn't choke audibly. "Sure," he managed to get out evenly. And then you can tell me who would dare to put a tattoo on a kid like you.
Ven stripped off his shirt and dropped his pants all in one motion, and spun to give his back to Terra. Terra didn't get much chance to note the nudity before the tattoo smacked him in the face. It only took up Ven's entire back with half a dozen arrows, all pointing to his ass. One of them actually went into the cleft of his cheeks. And above all the arrows was the inscription, "STICK PENIS HERE" in big block letters.
Terra rose and clapped Ven on the shoulder. "So who's the tattooist you saw? I think I need to have a chat with him."
"....he's down in the meadows below the castle, but Terra..."
Terra headed out briskly, already summoning his keyblade as he went.
"Terra!" Ven called after him as the door closed. "TERRA!" With a huge, frustrated sigh, Ven pulled up his pants and sat sulkily on the floor. "Man...."

"Hey, Sora," Riku said, as they sat on the trunk of the paopu tree together, watching the sun set like they had ever since they were kids. Kairi was sitting at the edge of the drop-off into the water, her feet dangling over the edge.
"What?" Sora responded idly.
"....it's a secret," Riku said slyly.
"What's a secret?" Sora demanded eagerly.
"It is," Riku said. "You know."
"Nooooo, I don't know! Tell me!" Sora demanded, jumping up onto the trunk of the paopu tree just to crouch down as Riku leaned back to put his hands behind his head.
"Sorry, man, I thought you knew. I can't tell you if you don't," he drawled.
"Why not!?" Sora wailed.
"Because it's a secret," Riku said reasonably.
"I can keep a secret!" Sora retorted indignantly. "I'm the best secret-keeper anywhere!"
Riku smirked. Just like when they were kids. "Kairi knows the secret," he offered, then laughed when Sora pounced on Kairi, demanding to know the secret. Kairi looked confused; she'd been lost in her own thoughts, tuning the boys out.
"What secret?" she asked. And then it dawned on her. "Riku," she said admonishingly. "Sora, there is no secret. Riku's just playing. Isn't that right, Riku." It was not really a question, and Riku knew the only proper answer was to agree with Kairi.
Instead he closed his eyes and smiled, remembering the past. "There is a secret," he said, "but it's all mine."
