I am so happy for you. That is so romantic and so awesome. I hope to one day be as blessed with someone like that for me as you are blessed with someone like that. You are such an inspiration. If anyone deserves this, it is you. To my friend, my sister in Christ, Congradualations.
you don't know me... but!gsuskidMay 4 2005, 20:43:32 UTC
I happened to stumbble across your live journal through the xanga of one of my friends who is a christian and there are these "blogrings" that I followed to a friend of yours' xanga and I saw the link to lj and followed it.... and this was the post!
I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS! that is so amazing. I have prayed for a year or so now to be blessed with a God fearing man that loves me as much as I love him and we can both be joined together with God as the focus of our life. It is so nice to know that it can ACTUALLY happen and it isn't just a fairy tale.
My parents are amazing, but not quite the "christian couple" to have raised the hard core christian kids that they have. Everyone has their flaws and such, but they had no sense of the amazing power of Jesus. My mom gets it now, but my dad is still a little lost... this is why I can't imagine finding the "perfect" CHRISTIAN guy that loves me and the lord and... well You get the picture :)
Mostly, congrats... and I will be praying for you also!

that is stinking awesome...
and YES... i love telling Christ following women that having a healthy relationship with a Godly man CAN happen!! i almost married the wrong person a couple of years ago (i was engaged and everything) and i'm so glad that He saved me from that. it has been a hard, painful road but i'm so thankful that i waited and didn't settle for anything less than God's best.
i would encourage you during your time of singleness to pursue God with your whole heart and learn to walk in obedience and love with Him. before Aaron and i starting dating, i had several months to myself with the Lord, didn't even have a whole lot of friends in my town-- it was lonely but i wouldn't have traded it for the world. life doesn't begin when you get married; find the joys that God puts in your way today and "suck the marrow out of life".
