There are great people in this fandom. I won't say they're not nut-jobs, because I know I'm a bit of a nut-job when it comes to House, but the people I choose to associate with at this point are nut-jobs in the good sense of the word and I've personally met many amazing people in the flesh as a result of hanging out on LJ.

One hint: AVOID THE PAIRING COMMS! I went to House_Wilson for the first time in ages to see the fall-out and it wern't a pretty picture. It's almost like they didn't know they were being played all season long, which is just pathetic.

I know there's lot Wilson haters appear (again) on the fandom.. and whining about leaving it annoys to hell... so I agree with you there about stop socializing... some people just went to nuts when they find out things don't work out as they thought.. :shrug: there's no way we can change that..

like karaokegal said, AVOID THE PAIRING COMMS! it was crazy .. if you want to see screencaps.. noone had done anything for quite a while now, so don't go there. If you want to read fics.. well, none of them are good enough to catch my attention, (expect At The Spectra and The Laws of House by pgrabia..) but you might say otherwise..
other then that .. well, I never go he discussion thread, so I won't know how far they went now... sorry I can't help :(

just want to say, as if I didn't know how WORST it can be for a fandom to got popular, I taste it MYSELF and just recently! (hint my icon...) it's full of weird fans and stories and ... RPS? What in the world's name are you guys thinking? (...alright I'm not THAT against RPS.. I'm in Viggo Orlando for a while..but those RPS in this fandom are so scary... they even have Bilbo/Smaug pair SIMPLY BECAUSE Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman will play those roles.. okay, it's fun to read.. but seriously turn a EVIL creature into something GOOD is totally ... weird.. :shrug: )
