damned gyms.

I wanna petition for a music room here.

Hey, music therapy is known to help with a thousand and one psychological problems, and there ARE a few docs who I hear are musically inclined.

That and I don't think it's fair that the gym is the only place with good acoustics. Phooey.

If you try for a music room, you might just get, "Turn up your laptop speakers and close your eyes." I would petition for a meditation room, or a whole arts facility. Of some sort. I'm just thinking out loud.

Arts facility... that has a nice ring to it. Nice enough to stick on an official form for petitioning. Official forms that a certain nice doctor lady I know would help me procure on Monday... riiiight?

This is me with puppy eyes. You can't deny the puppy eyes, darling.

If you are able to produce a single baked good upon my giving you this form, then we have a deal. The puppy eyes travel through the internet too well. Microsoft will have to look into this.

Microsoft probably has an internet puppy-eyes program patented already. Of course, it'll probably have too many errors and end up giving people horse eyes instead.

Two brownies and a chocolate chip cookie are waiting for you. I think they're saying "eat me, eat me!" but maybe they're just screaming for their lives because they know they're going to get consumed soon...

If you're filling out forms for an Arts Facility, how about also including a karaoke machine? Think about it! Staff and Patients singing together to Bohemian Rhapsody. It would improve hospital morale and functionality. You could list that in the official form.

You, ma'am, are awesome. And trust me, I'm now jotting down some notes on how I should phrase the entirety of this form so it'll look feasible. Y'know, instead of me stomping my foot for a room with good acoustics that isn't the gym or chapel.

Erm... not that the gym and chapel are bad places, really.

By the way, hi and welcome! The patients don't bite unless they're on the psych floor. But they'll be strapped down well enough, don't worry. Hee.

Hi! I'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier. I'm Liana Langford...and I guess I am going to be on the Psych floor as the new psychologist at PPTH, but it's ok. I've never had to strap down a patient before. Quick reflexes you see =P

I'm a Kai, and you're lucky you're not on the Oncology floor. I'm prone to believe we're more certifiable than the Psych patients. Of course, that's because I deliberately choose to toss bedpans at the new nurses. :P

Good luck with your job, though. Being in Psych is a very hard thing to do here. I think the only one that's really succeeded so far is Doc Atherton, but hell, he was established way before he got here.

Kai...

I think I honestly just felt two new silver hairs grow on my head.

This... is the sound of the flat of my hand whapping the back of your head.

And this is the sound of pathetic whimpering... like a puppy. A cute little puppy with big ol' eyes and a pout. (In my world, puppies can pout, dangit.)
