you got caught up with that stuff too?! lol dang but you know why it's so scandalous? it is nobody's business...but hk isn't all that big. It's like the entire town knows those people took that kinds of pix of themselves. Alot of adults look at this as a moral issue and because alot of these celebs are idols, they're like "role models teaching the young kids" too. Alot of young ppl are blind followers in hk. What's more ironic is that their record companies build their images as "innocent" and "chaste", cecelia used to be that, twins are as well...the girl who was in it, "gillian" paparazzi took pics of her while she was changing, and her defense was that "i'm children's idols..." but she apparently isn't. her private life isn't what children should model after. if that makes any sense. you may think of whole moral issue is "conservative" but that's most east asian ppl's values...
Yeah, a lot of Asian celebrities in general are portrayed as being chaste, innocent, and basically asexual. But what really bothers me is that just cuz the image is there, society/media/whoever acts like people really ARE like that and HAVE to be like that just cuz of their image!! And I mean, who really acts like their "public" self in their private, sexual lives? Come on...
And what's really sad is that, yeah, most Asian societal thought processes heavily focus on the conservative values... that idols should be chaste and innocent so their kids can grow up like them...
But then in the US when that happens, everyone's like "wow I can't believe this star did this and that, oh well who cares, everyone does it..." Besides! Having sex is normal and human instinct, and most people do it. So, who cares if stars do shit like that in their private lives!! Jeeeeez... lol.
Well, it's none of my business, but I can't say I wasn't curious! And I did feel bad, but, I'm not looking at it to insult or make fun of them. I just want to see what the fuss is all about. The pictures aren't that bad, people are just stupid. It's just normal stuff that couples do, I don't see the big deal
