Up for Adoption!

Here's a list of crossover plunnies that attacked my brain, but were never fully realized.  If someone is willing to take one or more of them to nurture, it would be much appreciated.

Be warned:  Old ideas are old.  And sometimes pathetic.

------------------------------------

xxxHOLiC crossovers:

Avatar -- Where do benders get their power from?

Bleach -- A normal walk in the park ends up being anything but.  Especially when some new spirit decided to slam into him and attempt to eat his soul.  Fortunately, Doumeki was nearby and pulverize the beast.  Wait, that’s not Doumeki!  And what’s a Quincy?

Cardcaptor Sakura -- Watanuki meets Ruby Moon.  Oh dear.

Conan/Loki -- Watanuki thinks it’s strange when a little boy (who isn’t) walks in.  But he can’t really say anything, because Yuuko-san has had more than enough strange customers before.  What makes it even weirder is that another kid shows up shortly thereafter.  And why is it that he sees the shadow of someone older in the both of them?

Darker Than Black -- In order to receive, you must give up something of your own.  To what lengths are you willing to go in order to obtain that which you seek?

Death Note -- Ryuuku had been wandering for a while.  He dropped his note one day and it landed in the hands of one Ichihara Yuuko.

Escaflowne -- They were holding a track meet and his PE coach had wanted him to try out for the team.  Watanuki couldn’t refuse just then because one of his classmates got sick.  So he goes.  Imagine his surprise when he sees something strange at the meet!

Ghost Hunt -- Watanuki, Doumeki, Yuuko and Himawari were taking a nice vacation to a mountain side to go visit one of Yuuko’s clients.  Their job?  Why, to exorcise a supposed spirit, of course!  Except when they get there, they’re not the only ones called.

Ghost Hunt -- Watanuki was enjoying a nice sanpo in the park when he runs into a girl who can see spirits too.

Harry Potter -- Watanuki was doing some spring cleaning when the fireplace roars to life and someone steps out.

Heroic Age -- “In the future, Watanuki, things are different.  There are worse things out there than mere spirits out for your soul.”

Merlin -- Merlin's out collecting herbs when he stumbles across a strange clearing and an even stranger person.

Sailor Moon -- Yuuko’s the Time Dimension Witch.  One of her colleagues is the Time Witch, also known as the Guardian of Pluto.

Spirited Away -- Yuuko said that she was going to visit one of her old colleagues in the department.  So she drags Watanuki and Domeniki in tow as they set off on an adventure via a train.  However, Watanuki thinks it’s strange that there’s only one set of tracks and that there aren’t that many other people in the compartment with them.  He thinks nothing of it until he realizes that the people on the train weren’t exactly people, and he had no way of getting back home!  But Yuuko doesn’t seem at all phased by the whole matter, and calmly states that they are going to see a woman named Jeniba.

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi -- It was a normal enough place.  Apparently Yuuko-san had wanted him to visit the school in search of a person called Yuki - no last name was given.  Watanuki sighed.  After much searching, he was told that this person was in a club at the moment.  They hadn’t said which one, but they said that it was located in the old Literary Club room.  And boy, was he for a surprise when he comes across the supernatural force known as Suzumiya Haruhi.  As if dealing with Yuuko-san wasn’t bad enough already.  Well, at least Kyon seemed like a normal enough person, because no one else in the SOS-Dan were!

Witch Hunter Robin -- Watanuki was on vacation for the rest of the week.  Yuuko had said that she was going to be away, so he took the opportunity to visit the other side of town.  Unfortunately, Doumeki decided to tag along.  They happened to spot a nice restaurant and decided to get a bite to eat.  The name of the place?  Harry’s.

Yu Gi Oh -- Names are important, as Yugi and his Yami are about to find out.

Yu Yu Hakusho -- The owner of the kitsune oden stand could count the number of humans that have ever made their way to his stand.  The count went up by one (more like, half) one night when a strange, red-haired youth came along.

Ghost Hunt crossovers:

Cardcaptor Sakura -- The reincarnation of Clow Reed watched as the SPR solved their most recent case.   Of course, it was all the more fun because he had been able to participate in it.  And he even got to tease the monk while he was at it!

*^Cardcaptor Sakura -- There's a ghost in a park, not unlike one of their previous cases.  Except, why are there two teenagers wandering around as well?  Are they not afraid of the consequences?  Well, the more, the merrier, right?  Not if you’re the target of the ghost!

Jigoku Shoujo  -- They say that Enmi calls out spirits and were used for revenge.  Well, there’s another way to go about doing that too.

*^xxxHOLiC -- Strange things have been happening at a local high school, and SPR has been hired to handle the case!  But what about the boy who can see spirits?

Bleach crossovers:

Furuba -- Tatsuki was coming home from martial arts practice, when she sees Ichigo.  Intent on giving her friend an over-due welcome, she comes up to him and tries to tackle him.  Except that in the midst, her once best friend turned into a…cat?

Gundam Wing --  “You can call me Duo, the God of Death!  I may run and hide, but I never tell a lie!”  Heero and the others thought that the Gundam Pilot who called himself the Shinigami earned and deserved his name for a reason.  After all, they were a group of the five most wanted and dangerous criminals in the face of the galaxy.  But when a freak accident endangers all of their lives, 01 sees for himself just what it means to meet a god of death.

Naruto --  He was supposed to be dead.  He was supposed to have died thirteen years ago.  But for some reason, this single spirit had managed to evade the Shinigami for all those years.  Which is why they sent a Kuchiki to finish the job.  Now, the question is whether or not that spirit remained a plus, or managed to turn into a Hollow during that time.

Yu Yu Hakusho --  Koenma’s had it up to his (albeit, very short) neck with his underlings.  Just about the only people who haven’t failed him in a while were the Reikai Tantei.  But now he’s desperate, and the only people he could think to call up for help would be a secretive group of people who specialize in the dead: the death gods.  So far, they’ve been very good about fulfilling their missions in broad daylight without attracting too much attention.  Heck, even Urameshi couldn’t see them when they were collecting a dead spirit right in front of his eyes.  If you put it that way, only Botan had been able to catch even a single glimpse of them, and that had been by mistake.  So, hopefully these Shinigami people could help him with his little ghost-like demon problems right about now…

Death Note crossovers:

Bleach -- Misa was walking around, thinking about Raito, when she runs into someone.  She apologizes, but then is struck by the fact that she can’t see this person’s death date.

Cased Closed -- When a well-known and highly popular detective suddenly disappears and claims to be working on an overseas case, Raito becomes suspicious of the nature of the cause. But after months of searching, the Japanese police are nowhere closer to finding the private investigator when all sources point to the fact that this person simply does not exist anymore. Taking things into his own hands, Raito indulges in his curiosity and stumbles upon a syndicate unlike any that he has ever seen. What do these people want from him, and why is it that they seem to be behind the demise of Kudo Shinichi?

Gundam Wing -- the term Shinigami has been used around a lot since the beginning of time.  Why does Duo have this name, and what else could he be hiding?  Perhaps the notebooks have been forsaken long ago and in its stead the mobile suits have taken their place?  If so, is that the reason why the Gundam pilots seem to not be able to die?

Highlander -- "I can’t see your life expectancy!"

Prince of Tennis -- a tensai at tennis, a tensai at everything.  No one can say what is to become of the angels that fly in the sky.  But when a junior high prodigy suddenly quits after winning the Japanese nationals, it has everyone talking.  When Tezuka’s shoulder heals and he enters into the high school world, what will await him when he finds that his former idol has stopped playing his favorite sport and has instead, become a world-renowned detective?

xxxHOLiC -- Raito stumbled upon an odd-looking shop in the middle of a metropolis city.  What he didn’t know was that it was a shop that could grant wishes, but at a price.  Is he willing to pay that price, or will he look for another way to rule the world?

Naruto crossovers:

^Black Cat -- Naruto, Sasuke, Neji and Shino are sent on a mission.  They are ANBU and Hunter-nin in search of a few nuke-nin that left the Hidden Continent.

^Harry Potter -- A few weeks after Sasuke and Naruto fight it out at the Fire Country boundaries, Team 7 is called on an important mission to protect a certain individual once again. This time, an old man from the British Isles is hiring them in the midst of a threatening evil at a secluded private school that teaches the concept of ‘magic’. They are not to reveal their identity nor let it slip that anything is going wrong; the ninja society is considered a myth, much like ‘witches’ and ‘wizards’ back at home. At least going to a different continent would mean different bad guys, right? But Orochimaru doesn’t forget his ambitions, and it seems that his plans still revolve around the Sharingan prodigy and the powers vested within…

Full Metal Alchemist -- while on a journey across Xing, Edward and Alphonse have heard a rumor that the Philosopher’s Stone may be close by. It turns out that they are wrong, but they come across some interesting people who don’t know alchemy but they seem to be familiar with all the skills the ninja people on the train had.  What’s weird is that there’s an almost homunculus-type being who claims to hold the powers of immortal life.  Is this man lying, or is he telling the truth?  Can replacing one’s soul in another’s body be considered as being immortal, and how can that power restore Al’s body?

Final Fantasy 7 -- When Akatsuki succeeds in extracting all 9 bijuu, the balance of the world starts to collapse.  After dying, Uchiha Itachi awakens to find himself in an unfamiliar place.

Get Backers -- ANBU members Sasuke and Naruto are sent to retrieve something from a distant town.  Unfortunately, some of the Retrievers are after it as well.

Get Backers -- Ginji promised himself that he was never going to return to Infinite Castle as the Thunder Emperor for as long as he lived.  But that didn’t mean that he couldn’t visit his friends every once in a while to see how they were getting along.  Especially when he hears a rumor from Kazuki-chan that a stranger has shown up at Mugen and is picking fights with the locals.

Prince of Tennis -- some weird jutsu has sent Naruto and the others spiraling into another dimension, or so they think.  Naruto seems to be the only one who recalls being a ninja while the others have taken on a new persona.  He must find the others and try to get them to remember their past and also find the scroll that will help them break out of this genjutsu they are under.  It must be pretty powerful though if everyone else is thoroughly convinced that Uzumaki Naruto is known as someone called Alan Smith…  “The last thing he remembered before the world faded to black was some guy trying to pull off a freakishly wild kinjutsu. The next thing he knew, he was wandering around in a foreign environment with only the clothes on his back and a bag on his shoulder. Trying to find his way back home, Uzumaki Naruto was startled to find that all of his comrades were there with him, but at the same time, not.”

Wolf’s Rain -- Kiba wakes up and is greeted by Konoha’s infamous White Fang.  For some reason, the wolf is not amused.

Wolf’s Rain -- Kiba was taking a well-deserved break and napping under the shade of a large tree.  He’s woken up by a large white dog, and a human who calls himself Kiba as well.  (And apparently, there's a Tsume here as well.)

Wolf’s Rain -- Humans, Kiba thinks, are weak.  So why is it that there are children wandering around in the middle of a barren wasteland?

Yu Yu Hakusho -- Chakra.  Reiki.  Both are energies that grant its users the capability of wielding unimaginable destructive powers.  But when demons and their vessels gain the skill of controlling them to the max, all spells trouble for the human world.  Especially when it concerns kitsune and their love for deceiving those around them.

Hunter X Hunter crossovers:

^Naruto -- Hansol is a shinobi of another country and he’s been planning on going on a trip to a neighboring country after having completed his Hunter Exam.  He hears a rumor about Greed Island being available somewhere, and invites Gon and friends to come visit him and travel as well.  They head off, ending up at another seemingly peaceful ninja village.  Gon travels around and sees that not all is peaceful under the surface, especially when the cause of all their misery is free to walk around in its streets.

(*)Yu Yu Hakusho - “Hiei, are you sure you shouldn’t be looking for the rest of your family now?”  “Why should I, fox.” “Because we both know that Yukina isn’t your only family.”  “Urusei.”  Hiei’s never really said anything about the kuroime to the others - only what they needed to know for the time being and even then, he gave the information a bit hesitantly.  But now something’s bugging him.  What about his father?  Did he have family as well?  And what became of them?  It wasn’t until he ran into a particular ex-assassin in the streets that he remembered just where he inherited his skills from.  And following said person home was a little harder than he thought.  Especially when that person lived in a faraway place called Kikkuru Mountain.

Kingdom Heats crossovers:

Bleach -- Dropped off in a world overrun by Heartless-like beings, they are surprised when it’s not the Heartless that are responsible for the loss of so many Hearts.

Spirited Away -- Sora takes the train ride away from Twilight Town.  In doing so, he takes his first step in his newest adventure.  But when the tracks only lead in one direction and deposits him and his friends in an unknown place, the gang doesn’t know how to get to the next stop.

Lord of the Rings -- As if fighting Hearless wasn’t enough!  Now they have to fight goblins too!  And why is it that no one else in the previous worlds questioned Donald and Goofys’ appearances?

Narnia -- Sometimes Sora wished that he wasn’t proven right.  Because in a land where talking animals were normal, everything else was wacky.

Yu Yu Hakusho

Get Backers -- “This is the infamous man with the Evil Eye?  Some how, I feel that he’s lacking.”  “Hiei, be nice.  We only came to scout out the area on Koenma’s behalf.”  “Psh.  Stupid toddler.”  It was supposed to have been a simple retrieval mission near the outskirts of Infinite Castle, but something went wrong.  They recovered the item that was requested, but were tracked by two strangers.  Ban found himself facing off a guy that was similar to Kazuki and a brat who claimed that he possessed the Jagan as well.

Slayers

Record of the Lodoss War -- Lina and company have finally gotten around to leading a somewhat normal life - if you could call defeating dragons, pirates, and evil lords just that! But on a small side quest for magical artifacts in the continent of Alecrast, they are visited by the Trickster Priest who informs them that Zelgadis's cure might be closer than they think. Known as the Scepter of Domination, Xelloss said that the information about this supposed panecea came from a source who called herself the Grey Witch.

Spirited Away -- Lina and the others are fed up with traveling around and not getting any closer to their goals.  But when they find Xellos in the company of another girl, they’re shocked.  And when they try to pry answers out of the mazoku, they find that the Trickster Priest didn’t remember his name.  The two were looking for ‘a doorway to get back home,’ and it was somewhere around this area.  They introduced themselves as Sen and Haku…

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles crossovers:

Bleach -- Syaoran and company have been searching around for Sakura-hime’s feathers.  After a countless number of adventures in different worlds, they stumble upon one that seems out of the ordinary - in more ways than one.  It seems as if no one eats around here.  Further more, their clothes don’t wear, they don’t age, and no one dies.  Just where is this place?

Spirited Away -- They landed in a different world that’s too similar to Kurogane’s own to his liking.  But when they had sat down to eat some food at an open restaurant, Syaoran had been startled to find that Fai and Kurogane had been turned into pigs!  Not knowing what to do, he grabbed Sakura-hime and ran away in hopes of finding what was going on.  But while it was getting to be dark, he’s found that he’s lost track of her!  And after much searching, he finds himself in the service of a witch named Yubaba.

Cardcaptor Sakura crossovers:

Kekkaishi -- Karasumori is continuing to expand.  Kaho gets a call from some old friends to see if there's a way to contain it.  Enter the Card Mistress.

Reborn -- The Vongola's 10th generation boss is about to meet China's most powerful representatives.  Tsuna's not going to know what hit him.

Witch Hunter Robin -- Robin's gone missing, and the STN-J needs someone to fill in her slot as a Witch Hunter. So two young trainees are allowed the chance to take her place, given that they don't run off or die. But what Amon as well as the others did not expect was that their new recruits are young - younger than even Robin herself! Surely this isn't possible! How can a pair of twelve-year-olds accomplish anything in this day and age? But Syaoran and Sakura aren't telling the secrets to their powers - not just yet. And they're after answers - answers to questions that have been haunting them ever since they've received a message from Eriol stating that an old evil has been reborn. Their mission? To find a "hope" to stop the spread of this madness and destruction that is threatening to overtake Japan... But there is a difference between witchcraft and sorcery, right?
