Happy St. Patrick's day to one and all - those of Irish descent, and all the honorary Irish-for-the-day!

So, Ryan finally got to have his birthday celebration sleepover. His birthday cake request? A pile of Reese's peanut butter cups. And I must say, the easiest birthday cake I've ever constructed. And Neil, crossing over in the Arrow of Light ceremony from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. A great night for mom and the boys.

Texas Independence Day

173 years ago today Texas declared her independence from Mexico and became her own nation. Hmmm, maybe we should do so again!

Well I still can't change my address in the university's system. Nor could I get anywhere to fax a note yesterday. So today I tried again. Can't change my address but instead opted to send my transcript to an educational institution, named myself as the institution and my new address as the mailing address and I'll have a transcript next week.
