Benedict Cumberbatch at the Wreckers Q&A 17/12/11

So, instead of sitting at home and watching Strictly and Merlin last night as I'd planned I wound up heading into the madness of pre-Christmas London for the screening and Q&A of Benedict Cumberbatch's film Wreckers. I won't say anything about the film beyond the fact that it's not exactly cheerful Christmas fare. LOL! But it does have some very ( Read more... )

Thanks so much for the pictures. You are so lucky to be able to see these people. They really don't have things like this over in the states, other than conventions, sadly.

Benedict looks cute all wrapped up in a scarf! The blond hair is a bit disconcerting though!

And....? There's quite a difference between blond and auburn, as can be seen in that photo.

And 'closer to his real hair colour' than what? You don't know what I was comparing it to!

Your pardon for having not been clear enough. I will try again.

Well that blonde is closer to his real hair color than the dark brown they dye it for Sherlock.

Oooh, thanky! I'm still not used to seeing him with blond hair. Yes, us poor saps in the US don't get 1/50th the fun you do. I'm missing chances to see Red Dwarf being filmed for the first time in 12 years because I can't be ready at a day's notice, all the premieres like Sherlock and Merlin happen there, and you get easier access at conventions. You also treat actors as human beings and are generally politer at cons :)

Oh, you definitely have people on your f-list who are interested in these photos or in BC in general! I'm in the Sherlock fandom for about a year now, and quite interested in Mr. C. as well... ;) I already envied you like woah when you tweeted about the Q&A earlier today. I so wished I could go to events like that. Living in the wrong country though. :( So thanks a bunch for the gorgeous pictures!

Would really love to see that film, even if it's everything but a cheery one.
