30 Day Blog #22?

Sep 16, 2010 00:25

I'll try to keep this list brief, but detailed:
Shit that bothers me
1. Shitty parents. Wipe your baby's face, and change his diaper. It is a diaper, not the hoover dam.
2. Bad customer service. I am just that stubborn to take my money elsewhere. I blame my father.
3. Bitches + Drama = Stop bothering me, I have more important shit to worry about.
4. Crocs. Fuck crocs.
5. My mom's baking....ewww.
6. My mother....ewww.
7. America the people vs. America the country...oh wait, is there a difference? There shouldn't be.
8. The "N" word.
9. "SWEET" tea is not the same as "ICED" tea. So stop giving me unsweet tea!
10. Perhaps the worst offender I encounter on a daily basis, I do put myself in these situations, but sometimes it is unavoidable to not encounter the number 10 thing on my list that really gets to me:

Sheeple (a portmanteau of "sheep" and "people") is a term of disparagement, in which people are likened to sheep.
It is often used to denote persons who voluntarily acquiesce to a perceived authority or suggestion without sufficient research to understand fully the ramifications involved in that decision, and thus undermine their own human individuality or in other cases, give up certain rights. The implication of sheeple is that as a collective, people believe or do whatever they are told, especially if told so by a perceived authority figure believed to be trustworthy, without critically thinking about it or doing adequate research to be sure that it is an accurate representation of the real world around them. The term is generally used in a political, social, and sometimes in a spiritual sense.

This applies to parenting, life decisions, beliefs, views, etc. I'm not saying think like me, I'm saying THINK like I do. Make a fully informed decision, not swallow everything you're fed.
