Ryan and I are the type of people who sometimes live so much in the future they have to binge live-in-the-present and sometimes go overboard
So we are steadily moving ahead with our "plans" *not preparations* to get our own apartment come August. It's very doubtful he will be joining the Air Force, especially after watching the Hurt Locker, and I cried because of that dumb movie. So, what we do know is that it's school for a bit longer. And school for me. I have a while to make up my mind because I am going to take anatomy no matter what midwifery path I take. As per the suggestion of Ryan's Dad, and my own thinking, we should start to acquire furniture. Or at least save for it. We've had our hearts dead set on these chairs at Target since we saw them, but I'm finding it hard finding a table I like. Sitting at a counter height is more preferable to us because you can let your feet hang a bit and you don't have to squat down to sit in the chair. And since a bar set would look ever so retarded in the apartment we want, counter height seems like a good compromise.
Speaking of compromises, Ryan loves leather. I refuse to have a leather couch, they stick to your butt, which won't be an issue to him since he doesn't wear short shorts, but I do, and then there's the issue of Jesse's claws. So I'm trying to keep leather in the theme. The apartment we want comes with a free paint job, beige and red, woo!
So this nice living room set is 1k and the two sofas are sleepers!
But I also really love sectionals. I'd be fine with one small one and a chair.
