Adobe Image Ready

Jun 24, 2005 00:57

I've been messing around with Adobe Image Ready lately. I first set out to make an animated gif of a days worth of web cam captures. I also made a smaller version. Then I made an icon for squeemantis out of a scene from Futurama in which a "spice weasel" is used in a cooking show. My newest creation is Ultra-Pepe from the tv show "Invader Zim".

each of my monitors is plugged into a different computer. My tablet is on the left, my shuttle in the middle, and my server on the right.

meh, my setup isn't that great right now. I think having a 3rd computer is almost overkill. If I was a better computer person the shuttle and the server would be 1 computer. Ideally my server will end up doing everything the shuttle currently does and i'll have the shuttle free to be a strictly LAN gaming machine.

Imageready is an inferior webanimating product to Fireworks.

Since I know Adobe's history I'm really going to have to disagree with you on this one but just for the sake of argument, since I also have fireworks installed, I will try it out too.

I guess it's all a matter of personal preference.

I just tried opening my PDF of my KoL avatar in fireworks and the frames didn't come with it. What format does fireworks use to save the frames?

I dig the webcam captures, though if you ever use it as an icon, I'm going to shoot you. <3
