Ok, there is more to IRC than just that.

Colors are a no no when used on a regular basis.
Canned away scripts are verboten!
Being friendly with people you don't know is slimy. Make friends first.
Inviting people to any closed community without permission is just wrong.
Maturity isn't just the language, its how you behave.
When in doubt, RTFM.
If we tell you not to do it, DON'T DO IT!
You must have a thourough understanding of RFC 1459. THERE WILL BE A TEST!
