so this morning, Jason Blankenhausen himself called to tell me he wanted me to be a Sturgis Fellow rather than an Honors College one.  i guess one of the Sturgis peeps dropped out.  i wasn't named alternate because i wouldn't have gotten any money at all.  instead they had recommended for me a different fellowship... anyway, it's all the same money
