It turns out that the ship has an Internet cafe, as well as a plethora of other things. A casino, karaoke, dancing and music, golf lessons, a gym, a swimming pool, ping pong tournament. The people here are so amazing. I had barely met the counselor (Maito Gai) before he offered to let me stay in his house while I'm waiting for my dorm assignment. Though I didn't want to intrude and told him he shouldn't bother, he was insistant that I stay with him. So...I decided to accept his invitation. Thank you so much, Maito-san ( Read more... ) -

Christmas is less than a week away. I'd like to get my dorm by then so I can get settled in. But I understand that people are busy this time of year, and it's very well possible that I'll be spending Christmas at this motel. (If that's the case, I ought to request more blankets. I was able to walk around a bit today. The Eternity Cafe was a bit more lively than I had expected. There was a very talented girl playing music, which really added to the atmoshpere.
