Prisoner of Love
Leeteuk smiled as he entered his best friend’s office. “Running late, Heenim?” he asked, leaning against the closed door. He eyed the man in front him, Leeteuk could tell that he is in hurry.
Heenim ignored his friend. His eyes continue running on the document on his table; few more paragraph until he could signed and give it to his secretary. “Teukie, congrat Donghae on my behalf” Heechul speak, without looking at the said man. “ And give this to that boy” he pointed to a box wrapped with polka dot sapphire blue wrapper with a huge white ribbon on top with his left hand while he is signing the document. “All done!” Heechul got up and smirk at Leeteuk.
“You sure are excited!” Leeteuk said, smiling.
Heechul reaches out for his briefcase under the table and walked to the door. He stopped in front of Leeteuk and said, “Four years. It’s long enough”
Leeteuk moved from his previous spot. Heechul then quickly turned the doorknob and escaped. He cannot wait to meet her again.
“Say hi to her for me!” Leeteuk yelled as Heechul getting further and eventually disappear inside the elevator. Leeteuk could only smile. That smile again; the purest side of Heechul that could only be seen by her. That special care, love and attention, only for her.

“Shall we start the celebration now?” Kyuhyun asked, impatient. He is starving and definitely cannot wait to taste the finest feast prepared by top chefs. They are lucky enough to have a dinner in Angela Hotel; the best 5-star restaurant in Korea as Hangeng manage to pull his string to reserved the whole restaurant for one day to celebrate Donghae’s birthday as well his success in opening his own company.
“Heenim is not here yet” Donghae said, looking at the entrance door. “We shall wait for few more minute.”
Leeteuk got up from his seat and went to Donghae. “Sorry to disappoint you, Hae” Leeteuk paused. Donghae looked the eldest, waiting him to continue, though he can guess what he is going to say. “Heenim cannot make it. But he left this for you” Leeteuk give the present to Donghae.
Donghae forced a smile as he takes the gift. He was hoping for Heechul to come, as he is his favorite hyung, since university time. “Cheer up!” Ryeowook comes from behind with a cake on her hand. On cue, all his friends sing a birthday song to the birthday boy. Donghae finally smile to his heart content, too grateful to his friends. He blows the candle and makes a wish. The rest cheers as Donghae slice the cake and Ryeowook, take the honor to feed the cake to the birthday boy. “Faster find a girlfriend before your next birthday, so she can take my place” she jokes and Donghae could only smile sheepishly.
Ryeowook then take her seat beside her boyfriend, Yesung, who’s then whispered, “Nice one, Wookie”. Donghae pouted, seeing the Yewook couple’s giggling. He got the feeling that they are talking about him.
He realized that he is the only single in their group. Ryeowook is dating Yesung. They are both working at Yesung’s family company, which make it easier for them to meet each other. The eldest in the group, Leeteuk and Heechul, preferred man over a girl. Leeteuk is dating Kangin, the owner of Elvin Hotel, the top international hotel in worldwide, while Heechul is dating Hangeng, an architect. Even Kyuhyun, the youngest is taken. He is dating a girl named Sungmin, though he never had the chance to meet her yet, as Kyuhyun told she is studying abroad. He sighed.
“Wine time!” Kyuhyun exclaimed as he raised the bottle to the air. He poured the wine for everyone and finally for himself. Donghae comes back to his sense as he pushes away his prior thought. It doesn’t matter how long he have to waited, because he know that one day, the right girl will walked into his life. He just needs to wait for the time to come.
“Cheers to Donghae!” Leeteuk said and followed by the rest, “Cheers”

Long silky red hair, porcelain like skin, big round eyes with perfect curly eyelashes, slender body and long legs; that kind of beauty is enough to have all the man staring at him and fantasies to have her. Even in the crowd, she still is receiving all the attention. Eunhyuk ignores the gazing eyes. She is used to it. From the entrance, she saw him, her one and only brother. She is always treated like a princess, like a baby because he is over protective. Being a crybaby and gullible, she always got bullied by the boys, back in her elementary school. She used to get home, crying, and sulking in her room alone. But that wasn’t long before Heechul come into her room with two bowl of strawberry ice creams. Heechul always said, ice cream doesn’t like crying girl, so if she want the ice cream, she has to stop crying. That is how Heechul calmed her down and make her stop crying. She smiled at the memory.
Eunhyuk then waved to Heechul which he replied. She then make her way to her brother. She stop when they are few inch apart. “Oppa” she called softly. Hot tears went down her eyes but her lips curve into a smile. “Come here” Heechul then said. He looked at her; her little baby has grown up into a beautiful lady. Eunhyuk’s smile deepened as she throws herself into Heechul’s embrace. “I miss you oppa!” she said in the hug. “a lot” she continues.
“I know! Glad you are here again.” Heechul said and broke the hug. “Let’s go home” Heechul takes Eunhyuk’s hand and hold it tight. “Neh~” she replied, smiling.

Heechul opened the door for Eunhyuk. The redhead got out from the car and look at the mansion in front of her in doubt. “Whose house is this?” she asked, pointed at the mansion. “Silly! Ours of course!” Heechul replied, putting his hand over his Eunhyuk’s neck. “But oppa..” she stuttered. “No but!” her brother said firmly which made she sighed. “You don’t have to do this. “ Eunhyuk said, implying a bigger meaning behind her statement. Whatever excuse that she would get from Heechul later, she knows that it’s a lie. She knows real reason behind Heechul’s action.
“It’s a gift for you” Heechul said, with his straight face, as he tried to looks real. ‘Liar’ Eunhyuk said in her mind. “Let’s check your room!” Heechul quickly said. Eunhyuk could only nodded. Heechul is trying to help her; she should appreciate it. He’s doing his part. So, she decided not to comment anything about this mansion anymore. ‘But is she doing hers?’ the question lingers in her mind.
eechul then lead her sister to the second floor. “This whole floor is yours. Originally, there were 6 rooms. But I’ve made some renovation. It’s only 5 now. “ Heechul explained, as he opened a door of room at the end of the corridor. “And this is your bedroom. How is it?”
Eunhyuk stood motionless by the door. Her room is so gorgeous; she love the design, the furniture, the color, everything! She turned around and hugged her brother. “Thank you oppa. It’s lovely”
Heechul then ruffled Eunhyuk’s hair and smiled at her. “If so, I’ll leave for now. If you need anything or you think you’re missing something, just tell me.” Eunhyuk nodded. Heechul then kiss Eunhyuk’s cheek and wished her a good night, before leaving the room.
Now Eunhyuk is all alone is her new room. She walked to her bed and lay down. As she stare the ceiling, her tears flow down again. “ I missed you Wonnie”
