Prisoner of Love
“I don’t care! You’ve promised me!”
“But Hyukkie..you know..I..” Siwon couldn’t continue. He’s breaking inside out every time he thought about it. But what else can he do? He doesn’t want to leave her hanging when he’s gone.
“You’ll get better Wonnie. You will!” Eunhyuk said, looking into her boyfriend’s eyes. They used to be bright but not anymore. Her tears are fighting to flow down. “You will, right?” she asked, voice shaking. But Siwon just hugged her, and Eunhyuk found herself dying a little bit more inside.
“I love you Hyukkie, forever” he whispered. But her tears just get louder. “Prove it Wonnie” Eunhyuk managed to say between her sob.
*knock*
“Still in bed?” Heechul asked from the door. Eunhyuk abruptly get up. She looked at her brother. “Oppa?” Heechul then enters the room and walked to the bed. “It’s morning” he said and paused, “want to do something together today?” There was silent for a brief moment.
“Mianhe oppa. I have something to do today” Eunhyuk answered carefully; scared if she offended him.
Heechul said nothing. He figures out that Eunhyuk will reject his offer but he still tried. “Ok then. Just be careful” Eunhyuk nodded, “I will”
‘will’- She flinched at her word. Her dreams and memories come back, and she could feel the same pain again. “What wrong, baby?” Heechul quickly asked, noticing her pained expression. “Err..nothing. Really!” Eunhyuk said, smiling at her brother. She silently prays so that her brother would believe her and drops the subject before she really cries. Heechul hides his sigh. “If you said so” Heechul then kiss her forehead. “I’m going out with Hangeng. Just ring me if you need anything” he said before leaving the room.
Eunhyuk stares at the closed door. “I need something that you can’t give me”

She knocked on the door loudly. Only after few times, the door was open from the inside. There was a butler dressing in neat suit bowing to her. “I’m sorry for making you waited outside, Young Lady”
“It’s okay Mr. Jung.” she said, smiling to the butler, that once attended their family. She then enters the mansion. Her eyes wonder around as she finds her way to her old room. She could tell that everything is well maintained and the homey feeling still lingers at every corner of the mansion. ‘I missed the old days’ she said to herself and smiled.
“Err, my lady, how can I help you?” the butler asked. Eunhyuk stopped and turned to him. “You were following me?” she asked in surprise. The butler nodded. “Hhm I’ll be fine by my own” she said. Eunhyuk then proceed with her agenda after the butler excused himself.
Once she stood inside her room, Eunhyuk was greeted with their photo; Siwon and her, hanging on the wall, just like eight years ago. Slowly, she goes to the gigantic photo and touches it. She cried again and she feels pathetic. She just can’t control her emotion. Everything about Siwon is breaking her up. Even after four years, she couldn’t let him go. “I missed you Wonnie, so damn much”, she said and kissed the photo gently, as she recall the feeling of kissing Siwon.”
After a while, Eunhyuk unwillingly leaves the photo and goes to her walk-in-closet. She walked toward the jewelry’s’ drawers and pull the one from the last two row. She takes out a blue colored box and opens it. She stares at ring for some times before wearing it. “I’m still waiting for you Wonnie”

Eunhyuk sighed again when she failed to contact her brother. Worried takes over her. It getting dark; she’s lost and her phone has no credit left. ‘What should I do now? I’m not used to this place yet’ Another sigh escaped. She started to blame herself. If only she had concentrated on her driving, then maybe she would still remember how to go back home. Now, she is stuck in a housing area, which she don’t recognize. She don’t even know if her house is nearby. Eunhyuk feels sorry for herself because she can’t even remember her new address. But it’s only her second day in Seoul after four years, no one can blame her, right? She looked outside the window, no passerby. Eunhyuk then decided to get off her car. After makes sure that her car is safely locked, she walked around.
She had nowhere to go. Therefore, she just walked and walked. Even after sometimes, she didn’t see anyone that she can seek help. She’s feeling more frustrated than before. In the midst of her panicked state, she found a playground. She smiled. She skipped to the playground and quickly sat on one the swing. At first, she swing happily but as time goes, the swing get slower and finally stopped. ‘Wonnie~’
Eunhyuk still remember how Siwon and she used to spend their time at a playground, near their high school. They have countless of sweet memories at the playground. One of the unforgettable memories is when Siwon confessed his feeling.
Siwon rock on the swing slowly. He wasn’t as talkative as usual. Eunhyuk noticed it, she couldn’t help but to wonder what was in his mind. But Eunhyuk was too shy to ask. Even though they are childhood friend, she still feels the invisible gap between them. But then, before she could say anything, Siwon was already on his knee, in front of her. She gasped at the situation.
“Hyukkie…”he started. “Actually I cannot be your friend anymore”
At that time, that very sentence makes her cries. She feels disappointed. She never expects to hear such harsh words from Siwon; who she loves and respects. Yes, Eunhyuk begin to grow feeling on Siwon when they started high school. Being the shy person she is, she didn’t dare to speak her heart. She’s too worried if Siwon would hates her if she tells him the truth. But now, Siwon really hates her. She got up and walked away.
But Siwon doesn’t allow it. He back-hugged the redhead. “..because I already fall in love with you. Saranghae Kim Eunhyuk”
Eunhyuk becomes speechless. Her tears stopped, but her heart is beating madly. Blood are rushing to her milky face; she’s blushing.
Siwon then turned her around, facing her. They both smile before sharing their first kiss.
“I love you too Siwon” she cried. She covers her face as she cries. But then, someone is approaching her slowly. He’s hesitant at first, but he braces himself to tapped her shoulder.
“Are you okay, little girl?” Donghae asked. Eunhyuk removes her hand and looked at the man before her. “What’s wrong?” he asked again. “I’m lost” Eunhyuk said shortly. She’s feeling sad over her memories but at the same time, she’s happy that someone is here to help her. “I see. How can I help you?” Donghae bend down and wipes off her tears. “Don’t worry. I’ll help you little girl” he smiled. But Eunhyuk feels like choking. What did he called her?! ‘Little girl?!’
“You see, I’m on my way to the convenient store but I saw you crying. Little girl like you shouldn’t stay out alone at this time. Who knows if anyone wants to harm you?” Donghae started talking. He missed the annoyance in the redhead’s expression. Eunhyuk fights the urge to scolds the man. ‘Stop calling me little girl!’
“If you don’t mind, let me send you home” Donghae offered. Eunhyuk only shook her head. “I want to call my oppa” Donghae then quickly takes out his phone and give it to Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk bowed lightly to Donghae before making a call. Luckily his brother answered and she tells him her situation. The panicked Heechul quickly said that he will comes over. She ended the call and returned the phone to Donghae.
“So is he coming?” Donghae asked. Eunhyuk nodded. “I’ll wait with you until your brother arrives”
“No need. He’ll arrive shortly and just to let you know, I’m not…” Eunhyuk couldn’t finish her sentence as she was shocked by the man sudden hug. “Oh you poor little girl. You don’t have to act so brave” he even patted her head. Eunhyuk rolled her eyes. She pushed him away. “I’m telling you that I’m…” this time her phone is ringing. Angrily, she answered the call and it was Sungmin. She calls to inform that she’s coming on Heechul’s behalf. Not that she’s bother with who will come to pick her up. She just want to stay away from the man.
While waiting for Sungmin, Donghae tried to talk to Eunhyuk. But Eunhyuk, who give up to explain that she isn’t a little girl, didn’t give much respond.
Donghae on the other hand wonder why she seem so moody. He tried to talk to her but it looks like she has no interest in their conversation. Even so, Donghae still waited with her. He couldn’t let such cute girl waiting for her brother alone in the dark.
About 20 minutes later, Sungmin arrives. She honked at the redhead. “Err..I’m going home now. Thank you for your help” Eunhyuk said, as she got up.
“You’re welcome. Next time, be more careful okay, little girl” Donghae patted her head again. Eunhyuk then run to the car. She hops in and the car speed off.
Donghae just watched from the previous spot until the car disappear from his sight. “I need to go to the convenient store now”
