Yeah, airports are... well, they're something, after spending that much time hanging out in one, aren't they? :) I ended up doing a ton of that myself when I was a pre-teen. I guess I find 'em fun and exciting, but in a profoundly boring and tedious way, I guess. (And Germany may have the best McD's, but Japan has the best Wendy's, man! ;)

If you're not put off by pee-staining sand dollars, you should come out here and I'll take you digging for geoducks. Colder, but way cooler! :)

Glad to hear your grandmother's funeral events went all right. Dunno what to say from out here, really, except a big "sorry"! Take it easy, and all the best.

It's a kind of clam that, before they got overharvested so badly, grew to the size of a small dog. And I don't mean chihuahua small; I'm talking terriers. The world's largest burrowing clams. They're still big, like two kilos apiece, and take a lot of muscle & speed to catch. And they look like oversized schlongs. Schlongs the size of spaniels.

(You're old enough that I'm not going to get busted for 'contributing to the delinquence of a minor', right?)
