L'OMG. I was watching the 12/10/06 show of Shounen Club. And I just happened to notice that Hikaru stared into Domo-kun's eyes with intense love loved his Domo-kun. =D
If someone already wrote a story about this, I'm sorry. D: I haven't seen anything about this yet.

Upon receiving his Domo-kun, Hikaru felt a spark. He looked into its eyes and sewn on mouth. He wondered what this feeling could possibly be.
"Hey, Yabu, is it possible to fall in love with an inanimate object?" Hikaru asked his fellow Ya-Ya-Yah member.
Yabu gave Hikaru a strange look. "Why? Are you falling in love with a lamp or something? 'Cause if you are, please don't hump it while I'm around," Yabu replied, eyeing Hikaru with distrust.
"OH COME ON! That was a YEAR ago," Hikaru retorted, remembering how he had attempted to hump a lamp at a party almost a year ago. It wasn't his fault the lamp was calling out to him, was it?
Yabu ignored Hikaru and left the room, not wanting to be asked any more questions about love and inanimate objects. "Hey! Yabu!" Hikaru whined as Yabu closed the door behind him. Hikaru huffed.
"No one ever answers my questions around here," Hikaru muttered. What was so wrong to know if he had a crush on his Domo-kun?
"What question do you have?"
Hikaru looked around the dressing room. There was no one in here but him. He started to call out frantically, "H-h-hey, who's in here? Is this a practical joke on me, Taiyo?"
"Hikaru, I'm right here," the voice told him. Hikaru looked down at his lap. He only saw the Domo-kun he had received earlier. He swore he saw the Domo-kun's mouth turn into a smile.
"Domo...kun?"
"HAI!"
"...I think I'm going crazy."
-Later on while filming Shonen Club-
"Nama Creamu! (?)"
"It's cake."
Hikaru held Domo-kun up to his ear.
"It's cake." Domo-kun told Hikaru. Hikaru looked into Domo-kun's eyes.
"Cake?" Hikaru answered tentatively.
"Correct!"
"DOMOKUN SUGOI!" Hikaru shouted. He looked into Domo-kun's eyes, only love present in them.
"Domo-kun..."
Domo-kun smiled back at him. As Hikaru left Domo-kun on the table, his touch lingered on. All throughout the rest of the filming of Jr. Miracle Contest, he could only stare at Domo-kun.
-After Filming-
"Um...is Hikaru okay?"
"I dunno. Probably not."
"It's just a little creepy that he brings that Domo-kun with him everywhere and sometimes makes out with it."
"...Just be happy that he's not humping it yet," Yabu shuddered.
