I do believe in soul mates- and I believe that you can have more than one in a lifetime.

If you believe in soul mates and happen to find yours is it wrong to choose to not marry them and choose to stay with your current partner or another?

I don't want to get married at all! I'm also polyamorous, so there's that too.
On that note, I don't think that all soul mates are required to partner up in a romantic fashion- it just wouldn't always work. I feel a deep soul connection with my best friend, but we simply aren't compatible for something like marriage.

Along these lines i would also like to pose an addendum...
What if your soul mate is of a gender or sexual orientation that conflicts with your sexual preferences? Do you believe this is possible and if so does it make any difference in your previous answer?Yes- absolutely it's possible, two of my friends know that they are soul mates, and one is about to get married. They're heterosexual/flexible females so being together romantically simply wouldn't work ( ... )
