But it's going to be friends-only.

Oh, and I'm really excited, because I found a CD from a local band that broke up on iTunes, and I thought I would never be able to hear their music again. Good times.

... hey, does LJ actually TELL people when you add them..?

(Caitiecat here - I followed the link to give you the anti-LoudTwitter CSS)

This method uses CSS to suppress the display of Loudtwitter. It's not perfect. It *may* only be available to paid users, I'm not sure. I didn't invent it, but I can't remember where I found it.

Basically, you go to the "Customize Journal Style" under "Journal" on your profile page. At the left, there are tabs - select "Custom CSS". In the main box of that page ("Custom stylesheet"), add the following code:

.loudtwitter {
display: none!important
}

And Save Changes. When you've done so, Loudtwitters should be gone from your friends page. You can still go into your friends' journals and see their twitters (as long as you're not using style:mine), and the posts in which the twitters appear will still be there, as will whatever introductory text they've got for the twitters.
