Mar 02, 2009 16:28

It's 4:30pm and Yazmina has come out from under Annie's Thetick and is awake. The hoperation went fine but Yaz hasn't eaten or pooped yet. Mummy has to phone Uncle Jason again at 5 to see if anything has happened then they have to decide whether it's okay for us to come home or whether Yaz needs to stay overnight.

More updates after 5!

When I had my furcut I had Mummy, daddy and uncle Rob very worried by refusing to eat. The vets decided it was better to send me home anyway as I would be more settled at home and more inclined to eat. So Mum took me home with strict instructions to return if I still wasn't eating overnight.

However I played a great game with Mum. I sent her out in the rain to get me fresh dandelions and fresh picked grass.
Then she went to the ASDA allotment and bought me frash basil and pineapple.
All of which I ignored, until Mum turned her back as I refused to eat any of it in her presence.
Well you have to keep your 2foots on their toes!
After a couple of days I was back to normal but in the meantime I had Mum dancing on attendance with all my favourite treats.

So good luck Yazmina and have great fun with your 2foots.

At first Yaz refused the mint and parsley mummy offered her...but after 10 minutes the temptation was too much to resist!

Now we're just waiting for poop. Mummy decided to bring Yazmina home because we both knew she's be more likely to sulk at the vets and not eat because of the strange environment.

Uncle Jason will take good care of you - but it's a long way for your 2-foots!

They would rather make the efurt and have me fixed by him, as they would worry otherwise.

We're very good in the tin box so long as we have our big travel crate with our litter tray and vetbedding in it. Mostly we just curl up in our litter tray together and wait for it all to be over.

We don't like woofs either. I don't mind the grandhumans' woof, Cally...she takes no notice of me at all and I sniffed and hopped on her today and she didn't seem bothered.

Uncle Jason is a great bunny vet. The lady on the phone, when mummy told her we lived near Salisbury in Wiltshire said that lots of people come from far away to see Jason because he is so well known and recommended.
