I'm glad you're ending your hermit era. There's so much to college life isn't there? And I completely understand feeling lonely when you see other couples together. I remember when Corey and Heather were dating, and they definitely didn't hide it while I was around. It made me feel lonely like that. How to cope? I don't know... Just know that one day, you'll have someone and the two of you will make everyone else feel like that.
Besides, do you want a Central boy? Have you seen the IQ's of those morons?
It's unsettling.

be proactive. ask a guy out instead. you'd be surprised how often that works. As long as you don't try to take complete control and let him chase you a lil bit, asking him out or just approaching them and strikin up conversations will work wonders.

I feel ya. I'd say we can be lonely together...but that doesn't really make too much sense, lol. You get the drift though.
