She is not kawaii. She is utsukushii. Kawaii is not a good attribute for women.

what makes you say " kawaii is not a good attribute for women"?
even though, "kawaii" sounds like kinda childish thing but we often use this word in Japan, and it's not recognized as a bad word.
If you know Japanese culture a lot, ppl use it and HE knows it. thanks!

Ok first you don't ever say again that my girl is not kawaii or I'll just delete all of your posts next time, and I'm quite against censorship though.

Second, you got a hell of a fuckin problem with the word "kawaii" dictionary-guy. What's wrong about that, did some teacher traumatized you with that or what ? You know, I've been to Japan few times, some of my family is in Japan, my girlfriend is in Japan, and I never heard the word "utsukushii" when talking about a girl, everybody DO use kawaii.
Maybe you don't like it, as I didn't either in the beginning, but that's the way it is, that's their language man. So calm down with the dictionary attitude when obviously you're not even Japanese, cause you'll lose, for sure.

And you already know you're wrong anyway as you don't even log-in to do your comments, just like if you were ashamed of who you are.

I speak fluent Japanese. But I don't agree with the use of kawaii on beautiful women. It is so condescending. I know in Japan they use kawaii on women liberally. It is because they accord them no respect - Japanese women, according to Japanese society, should behave like children their entire lives. It's pathetic.

Utsukushii is indeed used on beautiful Japanese women. Just not often enough. Believe me, it's a compliment. A female who wants to be kawaii rather than utsukushii is a little kid, not a woman.
