My step-cousin (my age-19, has two kids-diff. fathers, w/boyfriend, no job, didn't finish h.s., welfare, getting her own apt. paid for by the gvnt.) wanted us to give her one of our kittens.  We never considered this because she obviously has other shit to take care of, and we thought it best for her to worry about her kids, getting a job, etc.

Geeze, I'm just as passionate about that! Cats are my life because thats what I was raised with, cats. I'm not a dog person. My cat, I've had him since I was 2 so hes like my little brother. It's not easy to give a kitten away to someone you know cant take care of it.

Yeah, and I'm *so* happy that we didn't give her a kitten. I feel like trying to convince my mother that we should take in the kitten she just abandoned...

I wish it were up to me, but because I'm in Syracuse for most of the year, my Mom would have to make that decision. *Curses SU for not allowing pets*
