I turn to my partner and say "Damn, I hate these Shadowruns...let's high tail it outta here...we'll deliver the goods, then I want to wash the stench of this city from my skin and get something to eat that doesn't reek of grease and human misery."
I creep to the door, and crouching behind the fragmented remnants of twisted wood and shattered glass, I pause and listen for any other walls of flesh my partner may want to install new windows into.

I nod and reply, "I sure hope we're getting paid well for this caper. We weren't supposed to run into a wrecking crew here. So much for the simple 'In-and-Out' routine."

I then pull out some Spearmint gum and offer my partner a piece, and then reload my Desert Eagle.

"I was thinking maybe the new Thai place that just opened," I quietly offer as a place for dinner.

I nod, taking some gum.."Thai sounds good, though I have yet to find a place that can make a decent Gaeng Koew Wan." I slip into the hallway, starting to retrace our step out, ears and eyes alert for any other unwelcome surprises.

I nod and follow silently as possible behind her, making sure to keep my piece up to cover her as we move. She's the one who knows where we're going, anyway.
