I have a class with Finucane this semester. (Women in World Religions, namely Eastern religions) Far as I know, she's in the process of writing her dissertation at SU right now. About the only other personal thing I know about her is that she's part Japanese on her mom's side. I've found her easy to talk to and helpful. She's still connected to student life so I think it makes it easier for her to relate to us

She's an even bigger grammar stickler than I am, which, quite frankly, is a bit scary. I'm taking G-ds and Creation (Religion 100) with her right now, and I really don't like her. She seems to know her shit fairly well, but she has NO ENTHUSIASM for it WHATSOEVER.
