omg omg omg i dunno wat to do. mum just destroyed my dream by telling me doing med elective in japan is a waste of 6 wks when i should be going to a country where i would be able to understand clearly wat's going on. i guess she's right...the most important part of clinical work is getting patient history and stuff...but oh so sad. i really wanna

Gah to parents destroying dreams. Although the third-world country idea would be pretty cool as well. You can always go to Japan when you're a rich doctor :-P

Butt butt u should go to japan to teach english and then get paid and get to travel and learn japanese and stuff. And u don't even need a teaching degree, just a degree of some sort in general
