I Love Flagler people!

Feb 15, 2005 20:29

I'm issuing a warning with this entry that if you are not from Flagler you may not want to read any further. So it's my last semester at FSU and as I reflect on my 4 years here in Tallahassee, I realize I'm right back where I started. I came to FSU with a bunch of friends from the wonderful flagler palm coast high school and we (especially me) ( Read more... )

Yay! I'm glad you feel better about it. Don't worry about college, you'll love it and you'll do fine! Don't get me wrong you might meet some incredible people who aren't from flagler too haha. They aren't all that bad :) Where are going to go anyway?

haha-- that's what I'm screaming bitch! Are you watching sex and the city by the way? It's about investing in friendships! woohoo! Carrie's trying to make sure the four of them are still friends when they're 70. I'm pretty darn sure we'll be friends until are boobs are sagging to the floor! Isn't that a lovely image? Anyway-- they went to Atlantic City and I'm like-- hey- when are we going somewhere fun together?! I'm missing out on the Nashville trip which is very very depressing, but I think maybe there should be a follow-up trip maybe this summer or fall or whenever. Okay then. I might put myself in charge of that-- just fyi ( ... )

YES I was watching Sex and the City! And I'm writing my gender think piece about it today. You know how girls are "spinsters" (BRIDGET JONES!!!) and "old maids" but guys are "playboys" and "bachelors". Anyway, yes till our boobs sag. That'll be great. Ummm NYC in May, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS!!!

Oh yes I could never marry a Flagler boy, for many many reasons. But you know Richard is just as fun as any Flagler person I've ever known. Wow sunscreen emails!!! That was sooo long ago!!! I can't even remember all the fun we had!!! Let me just say, LUNCH ROOM BAND... that was right out of a movie :)

I know I'm not technically included in the "Flagler People turned FSU People" but I do love you and you are one of those few people that doesn't take crap and is always there to be honest with me (you used to be tactful too but hey we can't have everything), and most of all you are always just there for me! I'm so excited to have you living with me (even if it is just temporary). Nothing like starting the Golden Girls days early right?

LOVE YOU (my longest friend...haha...no pun intended)!!!!

Erin this was for all FABULOUS FLAGLER FOLK. You are still an amazingly fun flagler friend even if you went to the wrong college haha (shoooot was that me not using my tactfulness again?). I love you too and I'm excited about being roommies. Can we do aerobics???

You're right... all these years of complaining about our small town, with nothing to do and just the same ol' people all the time! We should be so thankful!! I also am not the "Flagler-turned-FSUer" and I left a year early... but I can still join in, can't I? We did have the greatest group of friends ever and there is no other cast of crazy cats out there like ya'll! You (and the rest of the gang) were so there for me in high school, esp after my junior year when everything changed and ya'll were my core! Remember Devos in Mr. Pryor's room every morning before school? GIRL SCOUTS (that might just be us, haha)? CrossPoint every week, not to mention nights with Julie? And just being together ALL THE TIME! In that town, you pretty much know everyone from when were like 3 feet tall, except you Leeanne, you were already 4 1/2 feet, and you ALWAYS stood on your tip toes :) I love you and your friendship, even though we haven't had much of one recently... you'll be closer soon, and I'll come up and stay in your house!!

Aw Crissie I love you too. And don't be so down about our "lack of friendship". You are still very special to me and even though I don't see you ALL THE TIME I still can see you once and a while and we are back to normal. I mean there are some flagler folk who it would be real awkward with (you may know of who I am referring to) but not you silly miss. crissie.

Well, there are several people I guess. You know those people that just fall through the cracks and your like, "whatever happened to them?" I'm moving in with Erin in late July and then living with her till late December to work and save money. And then I'm going to London to work for 6 months in this work abroad program!!! Okay, that's my update ;)
