I have no objections to your working on a project, although you'll need a warden to let you into to the lab. While you're there, get the artrometer and take get a few readings around the Barge, particularly on deck. The phenomena might be the result of a massive temporal displacement, aging the Barge and carrying voices through time.

Yes, send me the readings. I'll only be in the infirmary for a few days-- Gallifreyans heal much faster than humans--but you should be able to get a sufficient number of samples in that time. Fifty or so ought to do it to start with.

In this case, more like pockets of time that are out of sync with our time colliding with us, so bits of the past and future leak into the present. It's just a theory at the moment, but it would explain the voices and the rapid aging.
