So last night was RENT. It was really good! Roger was kind of weird because he was british and his accent tried to come out sometimes. And by sometimes I mean A LOT. I also got a weird homo-erotic sense from Roger and Mark that wasn't supposed to be there. Hm...

That being said, I officially love Joanna Newsom. Thanks to Caroline for that!

the first time i heard joanna newsome i was scared. she sounds like a little girl and very old woman all at once. but, as terrified as i was, i couldn't tear myself away from what she was singing. then, i was so fascinated by it that i tried imitating her...that was weird. anyway, i like her a lot, but only in small doses.

That's EXACTLY how I described her. I said she sounded like a mix between an ethel merman-ish old woman and a tiny girl.
