Well, I'm back from London. Had a really good time. Nice to do something different really. And finally finish the book of Orwell essays I've been reading for months

What was the London adventure for? I spent my weekend working which involved gaining a limp and songs for Jesus. It's total rock 'n' roll :)

Seeing my (great) uncle, who is quite bohemian and is old and lives in a cool house in Islington and doesn't have kids and loves red wine. I'll have to write some more about him some time. He's pretty much the relation I hold in most esteem.

I love the fact that any employer would see it as suitable for you to do songs for Jesus! How did you get your limp? Coming out with us at the weekend?

Ooh, what book, cos I just recently read a short blue one called 'Selected Writings' (I think?) and it was great!

Its a penguin and has a black and orange design on the front. They probably have all the same essays in! If not, we can swap and be Orwell geeks together :D
