Doh! If only I'd had those links last night - we ended up in an internet cafe at midnight trying to find places to go.

I would have gone to that Klezmer night tonight, I've heard lots about it, but it's too late :(

ok, now you have them and if you find anything else, let me know. there is a concert on Saturday in my area, it's called fest'hivernal, you can probably google it, some ska, punk and rock music. before that some free slam poetry at the local theatre. that starts at 6:30 and the gig at 8. I'll have dinner with a couchsurfing friend and his friend before, if you'd like to join us, I'd pick you up from the train station, I know there is a direct train from you (montparnasse - clamart - st quentin en yvelines).

Hey! I heard from birgitte that you've just au paired for a family in Paris before. I'm really interested in au pairing also and have been trying to gather as much information as I can before I give it a shot. I'd love to read about your experiences. I hope you don't mind that I added you!
